The apartment is on the mezzanine floor of a historic building from the early 1900s and was renovated a few years ago. It has all interior views into a lovely courtyard-garden, this means that the apartment is quiet and cool during the summer. There are : 1 bedroom - 1 studio - 1 bathroom - 1 large living room consisting of dining room + living room + kitchen. It is located 50 meters from Piazza Vittorio, in the multicultural district of Rome, full of stores and restaurants, near one of the most important local markets. A few meters from the A line, a 10-minute walk from Termini Central Station (where the train from the airport arrives), a 15-minute walk from the Colosseum, San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Maria Maggiore; a 20-minute walk from Via dei Fori Imperiali; 4 metro stops from Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti. Ideal in summer because cool without the need for air conditioningbut there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Sheets, towels and WiFi included.

As per local law every single guest must show documents to be registered at the police headquarters within 24 hours of arrival and the number of guests in the house must match the guests declared in the reservation.

To the final price must be added 6 euros per person per day for tourist tax (only for the first 10 days) to be paid by bank transfer or ********.

In winter the house is less bright than in the photographs.

This spot in Esquilino was perfect for my extended stay in Rome. Very quiet, very comfortable, within easy walking distance to great food, great bars, and grocery stores. The flat is away from the tourist areas, so feels authentic—people live in this neighborhood—but has easy access to buses, trams, and the subway, and many sites—like the colosseum—are within a 15-minute walk. All of Rome is literally just outside the door, without all the usual touristy hubbub. Highly recommend!

A very attentive host. Having a problem with the Wi-Fi, Maurizio credited us one night out of the 5 we spent in this spacious and warm apartment. This allowed us to meet Andrea, owner of the charming little Radici café offering products from his native region (Lecce) to have access to Wi-Fi. We had a very nice stay. A 10-minute walk from the Colosseum in a multicultural neighborhood and a bit removed from the tourist crowds. Great.

You will not be disappointed with this apartment. The place has so much character, arches, tile ceiling, looking out at a courtyard and the big front door. The place is quiet and is close to the metro which is one stop away from the main terminal. The bathroom is great with good shower and hot water. Maurizio was a true blessing it was my first time renting a bnb and first time to Rome and he was very patient with me and answered my questions very quickly. Thanks Maurizio for making this trip the best yet. And say thanks to Mariapia

I loved this apartment. Big and open like a New York loft with high ceilings and lots of light. Location was superb, 1 block from the Metro, and the Termini hub (and train station to the airport) just one stop away. Overlooking the courtyard garden, it was quiet and peaceful with a bustling Roman, NOT touristy, neighborhood, just outside the front door. And a lovely walk to the Colosseum and many other sites. Maurizio gladly returned my emails about questions and advice and had great suggestions. If I sound like I'm gushing, I AM! If I go back to Rome next year, I will rent this place again!!
