Bela Vista hosts a large number of Italian cantinas and restaurants, renowned theaters, such as Teatro Sergio Cardoso, Bibi Ferreira and Maria Della Costa. This neighborhood - and specially the Augusta st area - has a vibrant nightlife and is the home of many descendants of Italians and young professionals and students that enjoy the urban atmosphere Bela Vista is also the home of the Vai-Vai Samba School, the oldest one in São Paulo. The Paulista ave, the main tourist spot in the city, is only 6 blocks from the apartment.

Apartment was tidy, serviceable, convenient, and well priced. Keep in mind: the agent listing the property (Renato) is an intermediary between MisterB&B and the business managing the actual unit. Read description carefully; I was surprised to discover that it contains neither heat nor air conditioning. Furnishings were a bit care-worn, and many typical short-term rental items were not supplied. Location can be noisy. I'm unlikely to rent this unit again. However, communication was great.

Perfect place for a short stay in the busy capital of São Paulo. The biggest advantage of this flat is truly its excellent location. You will be close to a plethora of bars, restaurants, night clubs, shops, and basically everything else one needs in a big city. The apartment is also in fairly good condition and you would find all the basics for a short stay. Communication with the host was quite limited but effective. If I am coming alone again for a week or two to São Paulo I would definitely consider staying here again :-)
