independent room with breakfast

Since we arrived in France, Gerard mentioned some strategic points to receive us and support us with transportation. Communication was a bit complicated because he doesn't speak Spanish or German, but he handles good English. He helped us with a map and train guide. Also, the place is comfortable and is located at the exit of a station. It's a bit far away, but the trains have perfect connections. Without a doubt, when we return, I will book with him again. We had an incredible time.

Attentive host and perfect location with great public transport connections; the bonus is the historical Marché de la Chapelle, some 5 mins away, for all your gastronomic needs. Recommended.

It was nice to stay in Gérard's room. The room was clean and it has good communication with subway and buses. Gérard is a very kind and polite man. He helped me with everything I needed. His breakfast was good with handmade bread. Despite our poor English, we had no problem with communication. I warmly recommend!

Excellent contact with Gérard, an experienced, discreet and attentive host, who makes his room available and takes care of breakfast. The neighborhood is well served (metro and tram nearby) and the street is lively (earplugs recommended for light sleepers with window open)

Gérard was ab amazing host, very polite and always available. The apartment is warm and cosy. My room was exactly what I needed, warm, quite and very comfortable bed. A nice simple breakfast was always offered by Gérard. The only thing I would suggest is not to stay out late as the area is quite strange at night but luckily the metro stop is actually 60 meters away from the apartment so I didn't have to walk in the area to get home.

Excellent attention from Gerard, previous and during our visit. Apartment very close to metro station and from airport bus station. Maybe the place is not so close to Paris Downtown but it is very easy to get there. Gerard gave us some tips, information for our tours. Very nice breakfast joined with Gerard talks. Gerard always shows willing to help, to support us about any weather or traffic updates. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Very spacious lift. Strong WiFi connection.

Gerard is a kind and honest man. Gerard was very accommodating, I felt at home. The place was just as described, plus The Metro is just steps away.

Gerard is a terrific host, he takes care of you like you are family! I really appreciate his attentiveness and sweet personality! The room is big and spacious and the bed is quite comfortable. The neighborhood can look scary but it is a very ethnic part of Paris. The metro station is literally right outside Gerard's door, you can be anywhere in the city in minutes! I recommend downloading the Paris Metro app, you can be at the Eiffel Tower in less than 20 mins. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Gerard's place to any traveler!

Very nice welcome. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which gave us the opportunity to fully enjoy every minute of our stay. Breakfast is good: croissants, homemade toasted bread, several jams, yogurt, eggs, ... Very close to the metro. Basic room and bed. Excellent price-quality ratio. We slept well with earplugs. We weren't used to Paris... There is noise in the streets (traffic).
