Full apartement - Marais very CENTRAL : Gay Bar, shopping Luxury

Cute place, great, central location to Paris and "the gayborhood". Tony was so friendly, helpful, and quickly responds to questions. He really tries to make you feel welcomed! 10/10 would recommend!

It was my first time in Paris and this was a perfect location to explore French gay culture and the sights and sounds of a magnificent city. I was there during Pride and this apartment gave me the perfect perch above the raucous street party. My perfect Paris moment was opening the oversized window at night and peering out over the Juliet balcony and admiring the architecture while watching the party below. I highly recommend this place. The host is welcoming and eager to answer any questions you may have during your stay.

Tony was an amazing host, super nice and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful, perfectly located within walking distance of everything you may need.

Tony is an exceptional host. We had significant delays on the road and arrived late. Tony was already waiting for us, and the welcome as well as the explanations were perfect! The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Marais, on the 4th floor. You are immersed in the heart of the action, but you barely feel anything inside. The apartment was fully equipped. We had a wonderful weekend and we highly recommend this apartment.

Location, communication, accommodation.. honestly this place is the one to choose and Tony and his friends were beyond helpful. I felt super comfy in the apartment and it is in the heart of the city making it honestly a struggle to decide it you should go out, or stay in to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax. 10 out of 10 :)

A very pleasant stay in a cosy department. The host was easy to communicate with and everything was perfect! Located right in the center with walking distance to most of the attractions.

I had a great stay at Tony's place! The place is bright, cozy, clean and in the heart of Le Marais. Which was PERFECT, close to gay bars, museums and restaurants. In addition with the Seine being such a short walk, made it even cooler ❤. Access to Public transport is great also with it being in the center of Paris. Tony was lovely and shared alot of tips for both sightseeing and nightlife. I felt right at home and slept very well 😴. Seeing the previous review I feel a bit bizare that people compare the cost and service to hotel, I mean this is a different service, so having an appartment that is being lived in is part of the charm. What can I say I loved it, and would rent it out again in the future. Thank you Tony 🫶

I will provide this review with details I wish I knew before booking the apartment - I paid AUD5,800 for 13 nights (AUD443 - EUR250/night) which is enough to a 3-4 star hotel in a similar area which in retrospective I should have chosen - The apartment is very well located right in the heart of Le Marais, just as advertised. This, although in theory is a great thing in practice means that it is loud as the gay bars are directly underneath it. The main room has double-glazed windows however because the apartment lacks air conditioning and it gets the afternoon sun, it gets really hot and you are forced to open the window to allow the cool night air in order to sleep - Building on the previous point, it is not acceptable for me that a place for EUR250/night does not have climatisation and you are going to need it in summer as the temperatures are high in Paris - The finishing of the apartment and features do not meet the EUR250/night mark in my opinion. For example, the ceiling over the stove has oil stains. Overall the apartment does not meet that price mark. - On the positive side, Tony is a fantastic host. He is a nice guy and will check on you and try to make your stay better. He sent me directions on how to get from the airport to his place via the train (tip: AI will do a great job to do this for yourself, even better than ******** Maps). Due to the high temperatures Tony knew that it would be uncomfortable to sleep so kindly he bought and delivered a new fan so that I could be cooler at night. But honestly it did not help, I struggled to sleep at night and because of the proximity with the bars one has to choose between heat or noise. I used earplugs until the bars closed at 4am. Final point: Analysing the solution from a cost/benefit perspective I cannot recommend this apartment for what I paid for it. While having met Tony was lovely and the location was superb, next time I'll try to find a place further away from the bars (where I can leave the windows open at night in order to sleep) and ideally that has climatisation if visiting during summer.

Tony was accommodating when my travel plans were inadvertently delayed. He provided warmth, hospitality, and an insider's knowledge of LGBTQIA+ life in Paris. I would stay at his home again and hope to have hosts like him in the future.

Super cozy and welcoming, we had such a great time at Tony's place, close to a lot of great places in Le Marais. If you are interested in seeing the real Paris, to mingle with the locals and make a lot of new friends, this is the place for you. Fun gay bars, amazing cafes, in walking distance to Notre Dame, metro stations all over the area, awesome shops, etc, etc, etc... It's a great place to stay, you won't regret it.
