Mulberry Cottage Urban Oasis in Lower Highlands

NUMBER ONE HOUSE RULE: please let us know ASAP if something in the cottage is not working and or missing. We strive to make a pleasant experience for our guests. • we do not allow pets - no dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. SMOKING - recreational marijuana and tobacco outdoors only there is no smoking in the cottage, neither tobacco nor cannabis. consuming any inhaled and products (vapes, cigarettes, blunts, joints, bowls, etc) are strictly prohibited inside the cottage. there is a $150 extra cleaning charge if the cottage smells of marijuana and or tobacco. there is an airtight container in the to keep any product and or smoking accessories/ devices that might be putting off an odor, please use this container. WHERE TO SMOKE: the tobacco smoking section in the front garden has late-night hours but ask that the noise level be kept to a minimum. cannabis can be smoked anywhere in the gardens and mindfully by the cottages (please not next to someone's open window). - patio/gardens quite time 10pm-8am - CHECKING IN & OUT TIMES: we try to be accommodating and flexible but we have a standard check-in 4 pm check out at 11 am. please let us know if you are in need of an earlier check-in or later check out time and if we are able to meet your needs we will certainly try. USE OF HOT TUB: maximum two people in hot tub. no non-booked guests. no street clothes & shower first. please use only swimwear or in the buff to keep the hot tub clean. please talk softly in the hot tub. *do not have more than 2 people at a time - it overflows the hot tub and leaves the water levels too low and in the winter it causes an ice rink on the patio. USE OF GRILL: please ask Giovanni about the grill so we can make sure that it is ready to use and that there is gas. QUIET TIME: there are other cottages on the property that have other monthly residences and we try to observe M-F 10 pm - 9 am quiet in the courtyard SAT/SUN 11 pm - 9 am in the courtyard. RESIDENT PETS: • no pets live in any other cottages: Mulberry, Chickadee, or Willow cottage. our cats, turtles & fish who live on the property are indoor-outdoor and live in our cottage. the kitties are not allowed in the cottage. the kitties (moonpie & xuxu) will try and trick you into letting them inside the cottage *** DO NOT BELIEVE THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE CUTE! *** BEDDING: both cottages have duvets as well as a mix of down and poly pillows. please let us know ahead of time if you are allergic to down so we can make arrangements ahead of time to change them out. WINTERS OUTDOOR FIREPLACE: the courtyard at Mulberry has an outdoor fireplace for communal use. please ask Gio bout the wood and lighting. the fire is in front of one of the cottages so please remember to keep noise levels appropriate for the time of day.
