Comfortable, clean and modern lower ground flat with private garden and communal roof terrace. Located in leafy Herne Hill, with nearby rail station/buses and close to Brixton.
I live in the flat alone and you’ll have private use of the bedroom with king size bed, while I’ll sleep in the lounge.
I’m relaxed and love meeting new people, and look forward to sharing my flat. Happy to socialise when around, but no obligation.
Check-in time depends whether I’m in the office, so ask about
earlier times.
The space:
My flat has one bedroom, so you’ll have private use of the bedroom. Personal use of bedside drawers. No use of wardrobe, but hangers available to hang clothes on door hooks. Soft towels provided and shampoo/conditioner/soap.
Although I’ll sleep in the open plan lounge/kitchen, you’ll generally have access to then area when I’m not sleeping.
Guest access:
Private use of the bedroom and shared bathroom. The lounge/kitchen is a shared space and guests are welcome to use, but access will be limited at times (eg. overnight or occasionally if have meetings if working from home).
Kitchen use generally limited to microwave and kettle, but let me know if you need further use.
Other things to know:
The bedroom and bathroom are both accessed from the entrance hall.
Flat located on lower ground floor adjacent to railway, but screened from trains by vegetation and doubled glazed doors offer excellent noise insulation when closed.
Getting around:
Flat is 5/6 mins walk to Herne Hill railway station with direct access to Victoria (11 mins) and also Blackfriars, Farringdon and St Pancras on Thameslink.
Airport rail links to Herne Hill:
* Gatwick > Victoria > Herne Hill
* Heathrow > Farringdon (Elizabeth line) > Herne Hill
* Luton > Herne Hill (direct on Thameslink)
* Stansted > Tottenham Hale > Brixton (Victoria line) > Herne Hill
Brixton is up to 20 mins walk with tube access (Victoria line). Also local buses to Brixton, Clapham and Peckham.
On-street parking restricted between 12pm and 2pm during weekdays.
