I had an exceptional stay at Colm's cottage. The place is exactly as described - calm, tasteful, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of Stoneybatter, with great cafés, restaurants, and easy access to the city, in a walking distance from the train station. What really stood out, though, was Colm himself. He has that rare balance of communication: always available with thoughtful suggestions, never intrusive, and genuinely caring. During my stay there was an orange weather warning in Dublin with strong wind and rain, and he checked in several times to make sure I was warm and not freezing. That level of attention made me feel truly like home. His cottage is quiet, safe, and welcoming - a real home in a foreign country. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return.

What a great stay at Colm's. He's created a calm, tasteful, incredibly comfortable nest in the midst of one of the best-situated neighborhoods you'll find in Dublin. Colm's easy communication style (never too much, never too little) makes him an excellent host. And he shows regularly how much he cares about his guest's well-being. What a great experience! My only regret was having to leave.

Superb cottage in the great area of Stonybatter (loads of restaurants / cafés and walkable everywhere). Colm was a superb host, cottage is great, on a quiet street, very comfortable indeed. Will certainly be back.
