When you first meet him, he let's you know that he will be as involved in your stay as you like, and he means it. He will let you be on your own, be your concierge or somewhere in between. James peter·5·Sep. 2026· "Absolutely exemplary first rate guest experience for my partner ******** & I at our wonderful & lovely host Martin’s stunning Bournemouth home - - from the get go when we made our first booking enquiry for our lastmin Sept mini break he was extremely responsive, quick & helpful in confirming the dates & availability - - we even had some temp cashflow issues/delay with funds before we could complete our booking & he was extremely helpful, responsive, kind understanding & flexible when we explained our circumstances & allowed us to postpone payment til necessary work funds cleared, which helped relieve a lot of our stress leading up to our trip, & also avoided us missing out!! Once fully paid & confirmed on the day we arrived he was helpful enough to allow us to check in early by midday after our early train arrived just after 11, & also kind enough to offer us a lift from the train station which saved us a walk, or taxi fare after a 4 & half hour train journey & helped make the kickoff of our mini break enjoyable & stress free!! Our double room was in immaculate condition , clean & lovely tasteful & classy decor, incredibly comfortable bed & lush garden view from the terrace, TV & fab tea & coffee facilities, & even a bottle of Rose Prosecco - felt like royalty with full red carpet treatment!! We were made to feel extremely welcome & at home enjoying Martin’s lush & beautiful home, kitchen & made to welcome to socialise with him in his lush living room!! As a host Martin was extremely helpful, friendly, fab company & charming during our stay - & aswell as our host we’re now also happy to consider Martin a fab new lifelong friend!! He even went the extra mile, after we said we’d like to go to Studland bay he very kindly offered on the Tues to drive us there via the Sandbanks ferry & joined us for the day, & we enjoyed a lovely relaxing fun sunshine day on the dunes!! He was helpful enough to also provide directions to get the 50 bus/coach to go Studland bay again the day after. Martin’s house location was also ideal, & extremely convenient for access to the town centre, seafront & gay bars which were all just over 20-25 mins walking distance max, or would be nice easy drive or taxi journey - so also highly recommend this accom for location & convenience!! Lovely continental breakfast & tea/coffee provided to.
Martin as also kind enough to offer us a lift back to the train station for our train journey home!! Overall we had an absolutely first rate guest experience & easily 5 stars all round, & Martin was also an absolute superstar of a host, aswell as a fabulous new friend - - we’d both defo 100% book again for a return trip!! 🥰😁❤🍻🍾🥂🙌👍 Xxx"

Ties is a flexible and very welcoming host; I came to visit Preikestolen and he recommended a splendid trek to Hiafossen for the next day, unforgettable! One evening we even had dinner together. I hope he enjoyed it too. I highly recommend his place."
