Very cozy private room with all the comforts of home.

These guys were great hosts! They're very flexible to what a guest needs! I highly recommend booking this location. If you like to try local restaurants and stores, this place is well-situated with options within walking distance.

Steve is an excellent host, he really makes you feel at home. My flight was delayed for hours and he took the time to pick me up, show me the amenities, and introduce me to the room! A super comfortable smart bed, he was accessible at all times and available for any questions. His house is impeccable, I loved it and of course I will return!

I want to make sure that the hosts, both named Steve, get a full five star report from me. I even gave the location a five star rating --I knew exactly where it was. It is on the La Mesa/San Diego border. Though not in a gay neighborhood, it is close to the freeway, so Hillcrest is just driving minutes away. The whole house was spotless, and though the bathroom I used was across the hall from my bedroom, it did not appear that the hosts used it while I was there. Both hosts, interesting and congenial, were as conversant as I wanted. It was also very quiet. Another GREAT benefit of staying there was the full breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, a muffin, coffee, orange juice is what I had this morning) they provided. The adjustable bed was very comfortable, and they kept the air conditioned house comfortably cool, which I appreciated. Their condo is in a large condo complex with no through traffic. I felt my car was safe there. The bottom line is that the Steves have a lot to offer to make their guests comfortable and safe--and fed. A full Five Star Report from me. George

The condo is exactly as described. It is very clean and comfortable. Steve was a great host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this condo. It's only a 15 minute drive to Hillcrest.

Great location with easy freeway access to get to Downtown San Diego. Great price and value for the accommodations and friendly hosts. Unfortunately my stay was very short due to scheduled obligations but it a much better and affordable experience than staying in hotel. Was nice to enjoy a movie together and sit and chat with both Steves.

This is a very cozy room, tucked away in about as central of a spot in San Diego that you're going to find. The Steve's are some of the friendliest guys you can meet and will take excellent care of any guest. The balcony is a great relaxation spot and gives an excellent Eastern view of San Diego. There's gas, food, groceries, and the highway right outside of the complex - you have everything you need and easy access to travel anywhere you may want to go! Be sure to talk to them about recommended films to watch, they'll hook you up!

Great property, easy to access location, and it was nice that a parking space was available. Chatting with one of the two Steves was very fun. I'm sad I didn't get to meet the other Steve. Great value for the price!

I had a conference at the San Diego Convention Cntr & didn't want to deal with traffic or high hotel costs, but rather take the trolley as I have in the past. Steve's place is IDEAL to get to downtown San Diego, including the Gaslamp District. Steve is very friendly, showed me the nearby station-within 5 min & with free parking. Used his complex pool and hot tub. Good restaurants are around his area too. The room was complete w/ seating & TV. Everything was spotless. I hope to stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay in San Diego. Hosts are very helpful and easy-going - they even carried my luggage up-and-down the staircases for me! I was able to come-and-go as needed. I enjoyed a comfortable and spacious private bedroom with good amenities. Access to a private patio was nice. Community pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. It's about a 15 minute drive on the freeway to Hillcrest (gay village) near downtown, but there are plenty of other restaurants and retail much closer. Parking was convenient.
