Located in the Grossmont area of La Mesa, you are only 12 minutes from downtown San Diego, 15 minutes from Hillcrest and the Beach. Nice, comfy bed in private room with lots of plants, 2 windows, wifi access, shared kitchen and bathroom access. Plus, a lush, backyard with hammock and full privacy for sunbathing or having a quiet morning coffee or tea. (entire house is nudity friendly) 😊 In addition, one of us is a practicing, certified massage therapist. Inquire about a discount on massage sessions for our Mr. B&B guests.

What a fantastic place and fabulous hosts! The home was comfortable and the guys made me feel welcome! They are quite the plant enthusiasts... the grounds are like a botanical garden!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home had a beautiful backyard; it felt like a private sanctuary. There are also plants placed throughout the house, which made the entire space feel incredibly fresh, vibrant, and relaxing. Like breathing oxygen from a botanical garden. Beyond the stunning atmosphere, the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to provide excellent advice on local hidden gems and the best places to visit around San Diego. If you're looking for a peaceful, lush getaway with a host who goes above and beyond this is the place. I cannot recommend this place enough!

A wonderful experience, very welcoming and attentive throughout, everything ran smoothly during my visit. I would most definitely choose to stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to others.

The guys were fantastic. They were quick to reply. Lots of plants that they love. Very private outdoor space with lots of plants. My breakfast smoothie was fantastic!

I had an amazing time at John and Pepper's home. They are incredibly welcoming, kind, and fun people. The room was super cozy, too. I can't recommend them enough! You won't regret booking a stay, and I'll certainly stay again when in San Diego. 5++ stars!

John and Pepper were lovely hosts! They were very nice and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, and the plants and the beautiful yard made it even more relaxing. Cute neighborhood with a fun pub down the street, close to cafes/restaurants, a quick drive to SD, and a 30 minute drive to Blacks Beach.
