Quiet neighborhood street with windows facing into front yard garden. Private bath attached. Close to Highway 8, and 10 minutes to Hillcrest, 12 minutes to downtown. There’s lots of parking in the lot adjacent to the house or directly in front of the house. There’s also a small Jacuzzi on the side of the house, that you’re welcome to use if you let me know to turn it on in advance.

David and his pup Charlie are the best hosts you can come across in all of California. The level of cleanliness surpasses luxury resorts like the Wynn, while the comfort of the beds and the above and beyond hospitality of David will ensure that if you are ever in San Diego and need a place to stay, you will always be welcome and comfortable at his lovely estate. Plenty of space, privacy and essentials provided. I don't have enough space in this review to tell you more, so book with him! 💙

Incredible place to stay. Place was clean and very comfortable. Dave was amazing and great to have as a host. Always made sure I was ok and didn't need anything. He had everything for any occasion! Definitely will have to stay here again sometime in the future

I don't know where to begin with this review but overall, it was an amazing experience! From the get go, David was so welcoming and extremely nice. The place was very clean, easily accessible to downtown and located in a quiet location. I highly recommend this cute, quaint home for anyone traveling to San Diego. I know for a fact that we will DEFINITELY continue staying with David every time we're in San Diego. I give it a 10+ rating!!!!

Dave has a lovely home and was perfect for rest and relaxation. Great hospitality and generosity throughout my stay. He made sure i was comfortable and checked in if i needed anything. smooth communication, no issues with parking. i would be happy to return and enjoy his jacuzzi next time.

David's place was exactly what we needed for this short trip to La Mesa. We needed a place to stay so one of us could check in at the hospital early in the morning, then for one to stay while the other stay in the hospital overnight. David was so nice, and caring, and he offered us more than we need. We definitely will stay here again if we need to be in the area.

Staying at Dave's place was a fantastic experience from start to finish. He's an incredibly welcoming host—friendly, thoughtful, and always respectful of your space. The house itself is spotless and well-maintained, with every detail clearly cared for. I especially appreciated the level of privacy provided—it felt like my own little retreat while still having the comfort of knowing help was close by if needed. My stay with Dave was wonderful. He is a very attentive host and checked consistently throughout my stay to assure that I was comfortable and had what I needed. He and his guests were interesting and fun to converse with. The room and house were clean and quiet which made for a restful night's sleep. I will definitely stay again whenever in the San Diego area and because of stay, I will consider this type of accommodation when traveling to other destinations.
