Communication before arrival is great found comminication during visit a little strained but in fairness Chris was working from home as well. Overall Chris is a good host think i was just expecting more communication which could ve more my fault"

Julien·5·Aug. 2026· "J’ai passé un excellent séjour chez Jem ! L’appartement est extrêmement propre, parfaitement entretenu et aménagé avec beaucoup de soin. Il est très calme, confortable et bénéficie d’un super emplacement, à proximité des commerces.
Jem est un hôte exceptionnel, très attentionné, à l’écoute et avec une excellente communication. Il est très arrangeant et a notamment accepté de me permettre un départ tardif. J’ai également beaucoup apprécié sa compréhension et sa flexibilité concernant le tarif, qui m’a permis de profiter du séjour malgré mon petit budget.
L’accueil avec une pastèque fraîche était une très sympathique attention. J’ai aussi adoré la décoration aux inspirations cambodgiennes, les nombreuses plantes d’intérieur et toutes ces petites touches personnelles qui donnent vraiment l’impression que l’appartement respire la vie. On ne se sent pas dans un logement impersonnel, mais dans un véritable lieu de vie chaleureux.
Jem m’a également conseillé de nombreuses adresses et sorties LGBT+, avec de très bons conseils pour profiter du quartier et de Paris.
Le calme de l’appartement était idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Je me suis vraiment senti comme à la maison.
À noter également que Jem est masseur professionnel, ce qui peut être un vrai plus pour les personnes intéressées par cette activité.

His location is prime, the place was impeccably clean and even nicer than expected! He is walking distance to multiple bars/restaurants and right next to the redline making a short bus ride to anywhere you want to go in Chicago! From the very beginning, Richard stayed in touch to make sure my very early arrival from the airport went smoothly.The house is exactly as shown in the photos—spacious, comfortable, spotless, and within walking distance of everything. Breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to chat, exchange ideas, and learn more about French culture. My stay happened to coincide with the Pride March. Although it was canceled because of the extreme heat, Richard invited me to celebrate with his friends at the street parties around the local gay bars. It was a fantastic experience. Thank you, Richard, for your friendship, your smile, and the trust you showed me. I hope to return to Paris soon and stay at your home again. But an even better reason to meet next time would be if we could see each other in Sydney instead. I recommend Richard's home without reservation."
