Tucked away on a quiet block in the heart of Fort Greene, this cozy private room offers a peaceful retreat while keeping you close to everything Brooklyn has to offer.
Located on the Garden Floor facing the beautiful back garden (access to guests!), the space includes a comfortable bedroom, shared bathroom, high-speed WiFi, and in-home washer and dryer for added convenience.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire home, including a charming backyard—perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The home is pet-friendly, making it a great option for travelers with furry companions.
Fort Greene is one of Brooklyn’s most vibrant and sought-after neighborhoods, known for its tree-lined streets, historic brownstones, and incredible dining scene. You’ll be just minutes from Fort Greene Park, Barclays Center, BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), and some of the borough’s best cafes, bars, and restaurants. With easy access to multiple major subway lines (including the 2/3/4/5, B/D/N/Q/R), getting to Manhattan and other parts of NYC is fast and seamless.
A special note for animal lovers: the home is shared with Benji, an adorable and very friendly goldendoodle who loves meeting new guests.

Access to public transportation: Fort Greene is known for being exceptionally well located for public transportation, with multiple subway options all within a short walk from us.
The DeKalb Avenue station is about 5–6 minutes with B, D, N, Q, and R trains. The express trains at this station are literally the first stop in Brooklyn.
The Nevins Street station is approximately 5–6 minutes away as well serving the 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines.
The Atlantic Av–Barclays Center station—Brooklyn’s largest transit hub—is just a 6–8 minute walk away and provides access to the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R, and W lines, as well as the Long Island Rail Road.
The Hoyt Street station, about a 7–9 minute walk, provides additional access to the 2 and 3 trains.
If you are staying in Brooklyn or Queen, the Fulton Street / Lafayette Avenue G train stop is almost at the end of our block - 1 -2 minute walk.
Altogether, our location offers access to nearly every major subway line in New York City.

Ken and TC are amazing. Friendly, funny, and chic. Their place reflects them so well. Very well organized, clean, and homey. Also super responsive if you need anything. The location is amazing for access into the surrounding areas and other neighborhoods. The block is super quiet and peaceful though if you need some down time. Highlight is probably the heated floor in the bathroom. Would definitely come back in the winter just for that.

I'm so thankful with the kindness and hospitality of TC during my stay. I truly enjoyed the apartment and especially its great location — it made everything so convenient and enjoyable. Really close to Manhattan with a nearby subway station. I also really appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the host, the wise advices and nice talks. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable from the beginning. It was a wonderful experience staying there, and I would happily come back in the future. Thank you again for everything!
