AVAILABLE FOR GLASGOW COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2026. Entire home available in Glasgow's west end. Comprising of one double bedroom with King Size bed, living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. It is a ground floor property with a private garden for guests to enjoy and its own private front door. The building was designed by renowned architect David Barclay in 1902 and features some beautiful original features in the Glasgow art nouveau style.
It is just five minutes walk from Hillhead station and ten minutes walk from Partick station with multiple connections into Central Glasgow, and both stations can be reached directly from Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central stations. It is a 10 minute metro journey to the city's gay district. It has the west end's main thoroughfares and high streets on the doorstep, including Byres Road, Great Western Road, Hyndland Road and Ashton Lane which can all be reached in just 5 minutes on foot, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. 10minute walk from University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Park and is close to the Riverside Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Hunterian and The Mackintosh House. The property is a 15minute drive from Glasgow Int Airport (GLA) and 45mins from Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK). Please note that I am gradually renovating my home, so certain aspects of the property are yet to be finished, such as the floorboards being varnished, and the kitchen is a little dated, but the place is otherwise in great condition and a very comfortable stay.
