Good points: great location, nice welcome. Bad points: no use of toilet paper permitted in the WC (reason: old pipes – fact: bad installation of the flush, even shit doesn't go away easily). No tea towel to dry dishes, 2 tea spoons for lots of cups and mugs. Urine odour behind bedside table. No batteries in remote for fan ceiling. Had we known beforehand the toilet problem we would've never rented this place.

Outstanding location steps from the Colosseum – perfect Rome base I couldn't have asked for a better spot. The apartment is less than a five-minute walk to the Colosseum, so I could stroll over anytime without planning or taxis. Great restaurants, cafés, and other sights are nearby, and it is also conveniently close to the train/metro for easy trips around the city. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt right in the heart of things while still having a peaceful place to come back to. Highly recommend if you want to maximize your time exploring Rome without the hassle of long walks or transit.
