Economic Room Zona Romantica (COVID19 READY!)

RUN AWAY! TO READ: VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU RENT THIS ROOM: in the slightest problem, communicate on MisterB&b as of your arrival because passed 24H (and do not communicate on ******** like I did) because MisterB&B will not be able to help you any more because the owner will have already been paid!! Worst apartment rental of my life!!!! No hot water, no wifi for more than half the stay A bedroom door that doesn't close Absolutely no bathroom cleaning on arrival A kitchen so dirty that I've never eaten there: dust everywhere and a fridge full of dead insects (absolutely unhealthy) The room I should have had was left in such a state (I'll spare you the details) that I had to take another one in the apartment, and the owner felt like he was doing me a favor. As for the owner, I don't think he intends to rent out any more rooms, because as he wrote to me on ********: "I've had nothing but problems renting out my rooms" (and honestly, I can understand why). I've received endless messages from the landlord convincing me that this gentleman doesn't seriously put himself in the shoes of the people who rent rooms from him. Indeed, he says that a problem can happen, I agree, but with him it's not one problem but several and for many people, just read the other comments. That's it for me,

I'm going to Puerto Vallarta every 3 months for 2 weeks at a time and this stay was so awesome I refuse to consider staying anywhere else! Wonderful old world feel, oldest part of the city (Zona Romantica), quiet, friendly neighborhood, no crime, incredible view of the bay from the balcony above the big courtyard. Beautiful at sunrise and even moreso at sunset. Then you have the best view of the fireworks show over the bay every night. Dewayne was great about communication and a great host.

Host is never gave me the instructions for the lock box and code before my arrival. I reached out 24 hours beforehand to touch bade and didnt get a response. I showed up and I had no way to get in. I had to walk around and find a hotel to stay at. He finally got back to me and told me about the lock box and code. I showed up the following day and was able to get i. The room advertised a private entrance and a lock on the door. There was no lock and no key for the private entrance. 0/10. Do not stay here

'You get what you pay for'. Obviously this was a cheap room and you cannot expect many frills but what you do not expect is to have to change the bed when you arrive!! The downstairs bathroom which I was told to use, did not even have a wash hand basin and there was no hot water for the shower in either of the bathrooms for the duration of my stay. Another annoying inconvenience was that neither bathroom has any toilet paper. A lot of this may be down to the fact the host was elsewhere but still!

I enjoyed my stay overall, and dealing with the host was a pleasure. A couple of suggestions. First, as there is no air conditioning, the room could really use a fan, especially given the warm climate in Puerto Vallarta. Secondly, the door lock needs replacing. But overall, a good place that I'd recommend to anyone looking for affordable PV accommodations.
