"From booking to check-in to leaving, Pedro was one of the best hosts and the room, as others have said, is superior. From arrival I felt like a welcomed guest more than a 'tolerated customer'. Some points to highlight/or not mentioned in other reviews: —Location is absolutely ideal - gay area but also the rest of the central city. Chueca Metro is on the doorstep. —The room is spacious and roomy. The ensuite toilet/shower is larger than most hotels, and very convenient for feeling relaxed about staying there (no awkward sharing). —He has a small refrigerator in there for drinks so you don't have to keep going to the kitchen. —Pedro was in full communication from the start, flexible with check-in/out and very personable. —The building has an efficient elevator/lift. —There is a major grocery store 2 doors down, open until 10pm . —The coffee place across the street - Casto - Obrador y Café de especialidad - has the BEST artisan coffee and HAND MADE/baked pain au chocolats among the best I've ever had - I went every morning for my coffee. —The environment is clam, secure and you don't have to worry. I will defintely book with Pedro again on my next trip to Madrid. Thank you! Desde mi llegada me sentí como un huésped bienvenido, no como un simple cliente. Algunos puntos a destacar (o que no se mencionan en otras reseñas): —La ubicación es ideal: en la zona gay, pero también cerca del resto del centro de la ciudad. La estación de metro Chueca está justo al lado. —La habitación es amplia y espaciosa. El baño privado es más grande que el de la mayoría de los hoteles y muy cómodo para relajarse (sin tener que compartir). —Tiene una pequeña nevera para bebidas, así que no hace falta ir a la cocina. —Pedro estuvo en contacto constante desde el principio, fue flexible con la entrada y la salida y muy amable. —El edificio cuenta con un ascensor eficiente. —Hay un supermercado grande a dos puertas, abierto hasta las 22:00. —La cafetería de enfrente, Casto Obrador y Café de especialidad, tiene el MEJOR café artesanal y unos pain au chocolat hechos a mano, de los mejores que he probado. Iba todas las mañanas a tomar mi café. —El ambiente es tranquilo, seguro y no hay de qué preocuparse. Sin duda, volveré a reservar con Pedro en mi próximo viaje a Madrid. ¡Gracias!"

"I stayed 8 nights at Guillem's place. The flat is very conveniently located as it is very close to the city centre and the museum area, just a few steps away from the metro. Guillem was there to welcome me and was very friendly throughout my stay. He suggested me things to do and see around Madrid and answered all my questions. Definitely recommendable."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Adrien's house. He is a good communicator and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I slept on the sofa, which was fine as a bed. Neighborhood is lively and you can go whereever you want very easily, either walking or with metro. Big plus is the 24/7 Carrefour supermarket closeby, very handy. Altogether, to be recommended!"
