KERAMOS Athens - A truly Athenian apartment, 5 mins from metro

From the start of my stay, arriving on Sunday afternoon with plenty of people socializing inside and outside of the corner bar and restaurants in the neighboorhood was truly great. If you count an extra 15 minute walk, you can reach everything around the city center by food if you like walking. I had some difficulties with the doorlook and badge, but everything else was perfect. Might I warn that if people in the other flats (there are 4 in total) are a bit loud, this might impact your experience. In one bedroom you hear the flushing of toilet and water drains quite loud. I would definitely recommend and might return.

Are you looking for a treat in Athens? If so, you should reserve Sakis' property now. Not only is Sakis an extremely likable and knowledgeable owner of a wonderful property with multiple units. He responded quickly to my questions about his accommodations which was a sign of great customer service. I reserved the 2 bedroom unit for myself and my best friend; it had all of the amenities I wanted and more(a dishwasher, combo washer and dryer, ice-cold AC split units plus push button entries, hands-free doors, and app-controlled locks). Anytime I do not have to worry about a key or a key card, I am happy. The interiors were also thoughtfully decorated and fit the Bauhaus design perfectly; I particularly loved the orb pendant in my bedroom. Also, be aware that the location of this property is another asset. So many bars and restaurants which are just steps away from the property in any direction. One of my new favorite restaurants, Beauty Killed The Beast, is open till 3 AM and is well worth a visit if you are hungry for brunch or a late dinner. The apartment's cute aqua refrigerator is ready to hold any leftovers you might bring back with you too. Again, I cannot say enough good things about Keramos Athens and its owners and site management. Over two weeks, I had transitioned from a luxury cruise ship to a trendy hotel chain and then to Sakis' property which provided an excellent experience and exceeded my expectations. Keramos Athens helped make my first trip to Athens an unforgettable experience and I can't wait to return again someday.
