This is our actual home, and we think it's something genuinely special. A two-story loft in the heart of Södermalm: exposed timber beams, soaring ceilings, arched windows flooding every room with light, a working fireplace, spiral staircase to the mezzanine, and a marble dining table for ten. Sleeps up to 5 adults and 2 kids. Steps from Mariatorget, yet completely quiet inside. Come stay like a Stockholmer.

We've lived here for years and love this apartment deeply, which is exactly why we want to share it.

The apartment spans two floors at the very top of a historic building on Södermalm, one of Stockholm's most beloved neighborhoods. It's the kind of place that makes people stop and look up the moment they walk in: exposed original timber beams, soaring vaulted ceilings, and a series of arched windows that frame rooftop views and fill every corner with Scandinavian light.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of the home. Gather around the large marble dining table (it seats ten comfortably) or sink into the sofa in front of the working fireplace on a cold Stockholm evening. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking. A cozy reading nook with a dramatic triangular window is one of those little spots guests always photograph. A black spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level, a quieter perch with a daybed, desk, and its own lovely atmosphere.

The master bedroom is calm and airy with a king-size bed and rooftop views. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed — perfect for kids or flexible for a group.

There's also a small balcony off the living room, ideal for a morning coffee above the treetops of Swedenborgsgatan.

Sleeps: up to 3 adults in ordinary beds + 2 adults in sofa and day bed + 2 children (travel crib and high chair available on request)

The location is hard to beat — Mariatorget is Södermalm at its best: independent restaurants, bakeries, the metro, and some of Stockholm's finest bars all within a two-minute walk. It's lively outside and genuinely peaceful inside.

We'll be personally available throughout your stay with recommendations, tips, and anything you need. We just ask that you treat the home as your own — shoes off at the door, and no parties.
