Usually a solo traveler. Like to learn what my hosts have to offer and suggest about the areas where they live and even share drinks or a meal during my stay. As a host, I live on the property, so while you may have as much privacy as requested, I am usually available to offer meal suggestions, cocktail hour, and always coffee in the morning.

Had an amazing time, host was very welcoming and the location was great with lots of great outdoor views and nearby hiking trails. Definitely planning on going again when I have the time. (Also amazing coffee 😊)

I found Andy to be personable, engaging and the consummate host (not to mention handsome!). He made us grilled hamburgers for a late-ish dinner the day I arrived, which were devine. Our conversation was very natural and the topics we discussed were wide ranging. I would definitely stay at Andy's farmhouse again! And I recommend you consider doing so as well.

Five stars all around. Nice quiet retreat- but not TOO far from the interstate-and the home is a beautiful old farmhouse. Andrew is kind and knowledgeable about the area

I had a delightful time staying with Andy. It was like I was visiting with someone I'd known for a long time. His home is beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the en suite bathroom/shower was terrific. His communication ahead of time helped me plan. He is a generous and gracious host. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was outstanding, from the most comfortable bed I may have ever slept in, to stimulating conversation about the new golden age of television with a pleasant and inviting host. Andrew made the stay memorable and relaxing. Highly recommended for a getaway.

I had a great stay with Andrew. It's a beautiful country home with an outstanding bedroom and a very, very comfortable bed with a private bathroom. Andrew provided breakfast and delicious coffee. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Very easy to communicate with regarding arrival time.

Andrew is a very kind host. The farmhouse itself is very special and the setting is beautiful. The room is spacious and very comfortable, with in-room private bath. It was nice to have many common interests, including music and travel, to chat about with Andrew.

Great location, great space, and great host! I had a fantastic stay at Andrew's home. The bed is super comfortable, and the ensuite was clean and convenient. I enjoyed the many conversations during my three night stay. If you are looking for a quiet, rural get-away, this is it. And a great host is included!

Andrew was very kind and accommodating. The bedroom is very comfortable. I enjoyed the history of the house. I was road weary from the past couple of days of driving and this was a stop on my way home. It seems like a place to be in seclusion; spend a day reading a book and watching the day go by. Also, just a nice place for a stopover when on a road trip.

Andy was very accommodating, with a last minute booking. Wonderful unique farm house, very comfortable. Had a brief history tour of the area and dinner at local restaurant. It was a great stop to finish my journey. Definitely recommended and I will be back Andy
