Around the corner from Shaw, U Street, and Logan Circle, our townhome is close to some of Washington's best LGBTQ+ venues. Just up Florida Ave, guests will find UpRoar, Kiki, Shakers, Bunker, and Dirty Goose. Just west on Rhode Island Ave, D.C.'s Logan Circle boasts the most well-known bars, including Little Gay Pub, Trade, and No. 9. All neighborhood establishments--Red Hen (visited by presidents), Baccio, Big Bear, and Etabli--are all very gay-friendly establishments with some being owned by members of the neighborhood's LGBTQ+ community.

As hosts, my husband and I are more than willing to share tips, recommendations and more details on the current District happenings and LGBTQ+ events. Ask about Flash, Flower Factory, and Peach Pit if you are visiting on weekends.

Our house is an 8-minute walk from the Shaw Metro Station. From this stop on the Green Line, guests are 4 stops away from the major D.C. museums, sites, and attractions.

This studio apartment was perfect for my needs: close to multiple bus lines, a couple of good coffee shops and such (special shout-out to DCity Smokehouse around the corner), with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the decent sized mini fridge and microwave also. Hosts were very quickly responsive to messages/questions.
