In Palais-Royal, extreme makeover of the Club Med Gym

If there is one gym that all gays know in Paris, it is Club Med Gym Palais-Royal. Ideally located close to Les Halles and Le Marais, in the heart of Paris, easily accessible, convivial, very friendly...the reputation of the gym is well known, so when we were told that it had just reopened after renovation, we wanted to go and see for ourselves.

No doubt, the facelift is successful! And it starts from the outside: in this rather chic neighborhood, the facade has regained its class, while skillfully blending into the Hausmannian decorum. A new entrance and a redesigned, brighter reception area, bathed in natural light that now flows freely into the club.

The cardio area is brand new, enlarged and equipped with the latest machines, with large screens that not only allow you to watch TV, but also to connect to Facebook, YouTube, your smartphone or to charge your phone. The best part is the wallpaper that makes it look like you're running in the wilderness or on the streets of New York during your cardio session.

Also brand new, the abdos area, in a more zen spirit, and the relaxation area.

At the beginning of November, it will be the turn of the weight training area to evolve with the arrival of new machines, a squat cage and free weights up to 30 kilos.

In short, the club has been waiting for a successful fitness upgrade. Grindr, Hornet and others will once again be able to beep happily at 147 rue Saint Honoré, thanks to the free wifi!
