I had a very nice stay at Aris' place. The apartments location is a little bit outside of the most touristy part of Athens, but about 20-30 minutes walk to Acropolis, which I found to be perfect. It is very well ventilated, spacious and with a relaxed atmosphere. Both Aris and his flatmate made me feel very welcomed. Aris has a wealth of knowledge about Athens, beaches, art and other stuff, so if you don't know what to do in Athens you can always ask Aris.
Great host and hospitality, amazing location in an interesting neighborhood. I had a really lovely time in Athens. Looking forward to returning!
The location of the apartment is perfect, I had everything I needed, unfortunately Aris was not there during my stay and his roommate could only speak Greek and English, but I don't... it was a shame
hi Hans, i am happy to see that you loved the apartment and thank you for keeping it clean and being a respectful guest. Other than that, you were informed a month before that i wouldn't be there, and about the language barrier, english is the language that travelers use globally. I also wish when traveling that everyone speaks greek but that's not the case, so we all have to improve our english to be able to communicate. wish you all the best.
I spent a wonderful week in Athens, staying in Αρης's apartment. The place is spacious, in the vibrant neighborhood of Exarcheia. Αρης was a friendly and caring host, providing me help and advice for the city. Communication was optimal. His art works are spread in the apartment which makes it really special, and I enjoyed our conversations. I can only recommend his place for a genuine experience of Athens' vibe and kindness.
