Located within the heart of Amsterdam next to the Amstel river, within easy reach to all public transport: the metro, bus, and tram , the metro brings you in 7 min. to Amsterdam central Station linking you to the Airport (20 mins) and other city's in the Netherlands.
You'll be staying in the Weesperbuurt(EAST) the house is build in 1883, and situated next to the river Amstel. Here resides Wouter & John and our cat Zio.
A recently renovated large (18m2) south-facing room on the first floor ( no lift available) Flowers in the windows, the sound of birds chirping in the morning and a beautiful sunny outlook from your french balcony will ensure you have a wonderful and relaxing stay.
The room is a non smoking room, for smoking you have to go outside.
In your room there is access to:
- Your own minibar/refrigerator, with a selection of complimentary drinks
- Nespresso Coffee machine & kettle
- French balcony overlooking beautiful gardens
- Your own washing facilities (sink & mirror)and a set of towels.
- TV monitor for Chrome Cast etc.
- Work desk
- Free high-speed WiFi
- Comfortable bed (140 cm x 200 cm) with a choice of pillows
- Access to shared bathroom & shower

There is a selection of breakfast cafes, bars and restaurants located just around the corner. You are only a 5 minutes walk to the famous "De Pijp" area with it's renowned Albert Cuyp street market, boutique shops and many hip eateries.
There is also the supermarket, liquor store, drug store, coffeeshop!
A night shop (mini supermarket) open till 03am , 7days a week and more just around the corner.
It's a very pleasant 10 minute stroll to Carré Theatre and Oosterpark. A 10 minute tram ride will see you easily access the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw and all the other famous museums Amsterdam has to offer.
As we are situated next to the beautiful Amstel River, We recommend taking a casual walk along the Amstel River to take in some of Amsterdam's most historic and beautiful architecture, including the 5* Amstel hotel, the famous Skinny bridge, the wonderful Amsterdam H'Art museum, the world Famous Opera ( the dutch opera and ballet house), Waterlooplein flea market , and this 15 minute walk will lead you to most local gay bars and nightclubs.
You can reach Central Station / Nieuwmarkt / Waterlooplein with the metro in 5 minutes as well as access to the old city centre.
Also for the more adventuress there is a very affordable bicycle hire 4 minutes walk from your stay (open 7 days a week).
