I have a dog, a 16mo mini dachshund. She tends to bark when people enter the apartment but give her some attention and she settles quickly. (if you have or have had a dog you'll get along fine) Close to Oxford Street nightlife, walk or bus into CBD, restaurants, bars and pubs in every direction. Two bedroom two bathroom apartment staying with a host that knows gay Sydney. Room has double bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan, desk.

Restaurants, bars, art galleries, shopping are all within easy access. 450m from Oxford Street so within 5-10 minute walk from year-round LGBTQ venues such as Universal, Palms, Stonewall, Sydney Sauna, Trade, The Oxford Hotel, Heaven, Beresford Sundays. Or looking at half an hour via public transport to Inner West for places like The Imperial, Newtown Hotel or Bears at the Bank. And of course if you are not sure where to go I can let you know what they are like. For World Pride if you are going to the Opening party in the Domain, Mardi Gras Party at the Hordern Pavillion, or the various parties at Home The Venue these would each be 25 minutes walk (different directions). Obviously taxi/uber etc is an option too but availability and surge pricing after big events may not be great.

Eric along with his lovely daschund Anastasia ere absolutely great hosts. Eric communicated with me and made sure that i was well informed. The property is in such a fantastic location. The room with ensuite bathroom is really great. Thank you again Eric and Anastasia.

It was wonderful to stay with Eric. His apartment is was immaculate, comfortable and spacious. It was also accompanied by an adorable miniature Dachshund who was the perfect hostess. The apartment was perfectly located on a quiet road just off the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and the delightful coffee shops and restaurants of Crown Street. Highly recommended.

Eric's place is located at the heart of the Surry Hills neighborhood which makes it very convenient for getting to/from the Central station, downtown, and any place of interest in the area. Eric appeared as a very kind and caring host. The place was clean, comfortable, easy to access. I'd recommend staying with Eric to any good guest.

The location is central and ideal for visiting Sydney. The room was cozy and tidy. Having a private bathroom made the stay more comfortable even if it's in a shared apartment. Eric was very kind and available to help with useful advices.

Eric was a great host, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay. The location was fantastic and within easy walking distance of Oxford St and other great spots.
