Cozy room in a DC house off the beaten path

Just a great visit. The place is immaculate and comfortable. The hosting is warm. There's parking off the street in NE DC. Alls good and I'll definitely be back.

Matt is a gracious host. My condo was out of HVAC during a heat wave and I needed a place to stay. He worked late but provided me super clear and easy info on arriving to get comfortable as if I was in my own home. I enjoyed chatting over a beer and the next morning there was coffee and a homemade pastry with fresh fruit from his garden.

Matt is a very kind and benevolent person

Matt was a great host; funny, interesting and intelligent. We really enjoyed chatting to him about his travels. The house makes for a pleasant, calm stay away from the heat and bustle of DC. We found it easy to get downtown with Matt's directions and parking was easy. Bonus of having such a cute dog staying with him. Matt ensured the directions were straightforward to follow.

I had a wonderful stay at Matt's home, as always! This was my third stay, and every time has been perfect in terms of accessibility to the airport, work matters, sight-seeing, etc. I was finally able to meet Matt this time around, and he was a superb host! I would highly recommend Matt's home to anyone in/around the D.C. area wanting to relax away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Matt is incredibly hospitable, kind, and gracious. His home is thoughtfully decorated and welcoming. As the ad states it's "off the beaten path," but if you know DC you'll understand the location and that it's a short ride away from almost anything you'd need in the city center. Fantastic value for money.

Unfortunately, Matt had to go out if town during my stay. He left precise and very clear instructions on how to get to and inside the house. The house itself was immaculately clean and was exactly how it looks like in the pics. I had the house all to myself. While a bit far from the attractions, almost all the popular spots were just 1 bus ride away (maybe with some bit of walking here and there) so no big deal. I will definitely book again if ever i get tonre-visit DC..

Matt's home is incredible! This was the second time I stayed on a business trip, and it was so convenient and comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home, and I got accustomed to the neighborhood and loved being there. I would highly recommend to anyone, and will be back soon for sure!
