Welcome to my house upon the Hill! I am centrally located near the Capitol for you to take full advantage of the many amenities of the city. Most Smithsonian museums are within walking distance, and four major metro lines are within a few blocks. The gay Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan neighborhoods are a short taxi ride away.

The room available is on the second floor with its own private entrance operated with a Push-Code lock (so no fussing over keys). The room faces West towards the Supreme Court and Capitol buildings. The bathroom is shared with one other tenant. A full kitchen is also available.

Nearby transportation includes a ten-minute walk to the Red, Orange, Silver, and Blue Metro lines at the Eastern Market, Capitol South, and Union Station metro stops. A bikeshare station is 50 yards down the road. There is a convenience store and a pharmacy at the corner of my block. All linens are washed using detergents free of dyes and perfumes to avoid allergies.

I also own several rental properties, so don't be shy to ask if I can accommodate you even if my calendar shows I'm booked. I love working outdoors, biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, and whatever else gets me outside. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The location is in a beautiful, historic, and charming neighborhood, and it is conveniently located near most of the major sights, as well as some good transportation options.

Ryan is the best host you will find in Washington. He is always attentive to your needs and takes the time to make sure you are comfortable. The location is also perfect if you have activities in the Congressional area. Highly recommended.

What an amazing guy Ryan is ! His property is about as close as you can get to all the capital and all it's great buildings. With restaurants within east walking distance it was the perfect location. Ryan took us out to dinner to meet some of his friends which is above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely be back as there is so much to do in Washington !

I had a fantastic stay at Ryan's place on Capitol Hill! Booking was a breeze, and Ryan promptly confirmed my reservation. The location couldn't have been better; it's close to the attractions of Capitol Hill and surrounded by a variety of great restaurants (Beuchert's Saloon was a culinary delight). The space was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed as a solo traveler. Ryan was friendly and available when needed, while also respecting my privacy. The shared bathroom and kitchen were convenient, and the fast Wi-Fi was a plus. Check-in was seamless, with Ryan providing clear instructions over the phone. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended!

This is quite possibly the most convenient accommodation on Capitol Hill. Clean, comfortable and private. Ryan was very attentive as well. Can't go wrong with this mister b&b in the heart of Hill!
