Charming room steps from the beach

My stay with Gaston was awesome. The place is super nice and located near the beach and a subway station that can take you pretty much anywhere in the city. It's also pretty close to the Gothic Quarter where you can walk around aimlessly and shop. Gaston was super helpful with everything from getting comfortable in the room to making recommendations on places to go or things to see in the city. He is a kind, caring, and intelligent person that I'm so happy to have met. He has a dog named Mora that is the sweetest, quietest, and well trained dog I've ever met. There is also a laundry place right outside his apartment that is quick and easy to use. I would def stay again. Thank you for everything!

My stay at Gaston's place made my solo traveling experience even better than I expected. He is so friendly and welcoming. He gave me all sorts of advices i needed to know about the restaurants, places i should visit and beaches I should go that are less than 10 mins by walking distance from his place. He even showed me a part of the city by being a guide and telling me the history of the place which i found very helpful. He speaks English which makes it easier to communicate. I strongly recommend Gaston's place. You'll not be disappointed. Promise!

Gastón is truly the most welcoming and helpful host I've ever encountered on mrbnb! He's genuinely engaging and has a wealth of local knowledge and endless tips to make your visit as fun and memorable as possible. His flat is absolutely gorgeous. It is refurbished to a very high modern standard and at the same time beautifully respectful to its original character. Gastón keeps the place very clean and tidy. The location in the Barceloneta neighborhood is ideal, nestled between the marina and the main beach. Many of the city's most popular attractions are within easy walking distance, making it a truly privileged spot. The only minor drawback is the lack of air conditioning, which could be an issue on the hottest summer days. However, the Dyson fan Gastón thoughtfully provided was perfectly adequate for me. A heads-up for light sleepers: The Barceloneta neighborhood, while charming and well-positioned, is a densely built area with many blocks of flats close together and with no real back yards. The long narrow streets and deep lightwells between the buildings act as echo chambers. If you need complete peace and quiet to sleep, you might want to consider a different neighborhood. Bonus note: If you are a dog lover, THIS IS THE STAY FOR YOU! Gastón recently adopted Mora. The most adorable and loving cocker spaniel you will ever meet in your life!!! Overall, an excellent stay! I had a wonderful stay here, the location is amazing close to the beach and the old city center. Gaston was a great host, friendly and welcoming. He gave me a lot of good recommendations and also took his time to show me around and make me feel welcome! Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Gaston was great, he was very welcoming and accommodating. I wasn't feeling my best during my stay due to jet lag but Gaston was very kind and offered to assist in whatever way possible to make my stay better. He's an awesome host and I highly recommend staying with him.

Beautiful home close to the beach and super well connected to the city. Bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is quiet & dark for great sleeps. Gastón is a kind and helpful host, we shared some time together over the week with his friends, with great discussions and lots of food :) thank you for opening your home to me, un abrazo
