Luxury Beach Loft Torquay | Walk to Gay Nude Beach | Clothing Optional

This was my fifth stay at David's lovely 1 bedroom loft, and while it was only a short stay this time, David once again was the most awesome and accommodating host. His friendly and generous character make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. As always, the loft was welcoming, cozy, homely, spotlessly clean and came stocked with all the supplies you could need like tea and coffee, and even cookies and wine. You can't go past the loft for proximity to the beach or local cafes, of which there are plenty. David being the amazing host he is has thoughtful and personal touches throughout the loft, and it's these small things and this attention to detail that has made each of my stays such an enjoyable experience. I can't recommend a stay at David's loft highly enough and it should be your first pick for somewhere to stay if you're looking to explore the gorgeous Surf Coast of Victoria. Davids loft has become my home away from home, and I promise it will become yours too.

David's lovely 1 bedroom loft has become my home away from home when I visit Victoria's Surf Coast. This was my fourth stay at David's, and this has a lot to with David being such an awesome and accommodating host. He is friendly and generous, even providing snacks including a jar of cookies and drinks including a bottle of wine along with tea and coffee supplies, and then there is the loft itself. The loft is welcoming, cozy, homely, spotlessly clean, well maintained and perfectly located on a quiet street, but still located very close to the beach and all the amenities you could need to enjoy your stay. There are small personal touches throughout the loft that only an amazing host would bother with, and it's this attention to detail and all of these small touches that made each of my stays such an enjoyable experience and I can't recommend a stay at David's loft highly enough. Booking a stay at David's loft should be at the top of your list for somewhere to stay if you're looking to explore this gorgeous part of Victoria. I promise you won't be disappointed you did.

The space is the entire second floor of a residential home. There is a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Everything was exceptionally clean and David even had the kitchen stocked with coffee, snacks and treats. He treated me like family and I think I've developed a very good friendship. The bed was very comfortable and the connections were all in place for an efficient experience technologically. I engaged David to be a tour guide and to provide transportation. He excelled. He was always on time, always fun to be with and provided an insiders look to a first time Melbourne visitor.

He is friendly and generous, even providing snacks including a jar of Christmas cookies and lollies and drinks including a bottle of wine as well as tea and coffee supplies, and then there is the loft. The loft is welcoming, cozy, homely, perfectly clean, well maintained and perfectly located on a quiet street, yet located very close to the beach and all the amenities you could need for your stay. There are personal touches all throughout the loft that only a caring host would bother with, and it's all of these small touches and attention to detail that made my stay as enjoyable an experience as my previous visits. David's loft has quickly become my go to destination when I need a beach side getaway. I can't recommend a stay at David's loft highly enough, and if you are looking for a home base while you explore Victoria's Surf Coast, then the loft should be at the top of your list.

Highlight of our trip to Australia was staying at David's place in Torquay, VIC. Not only was the place super comfortable, spacious and clean, close to the beach and shopping, there were so many extras provided to make us really feel at home. A generous amount of food staples and goodies, INCLUDING wine, drinks and other treats all there waiting for us! But our host, David, was really the crown jewel of our stay. He is so friendly and engaging, and went way beyond the ordinary hosting duties to both show and suggest so many things for us to do, and even accompanied us on several local adventures! We are happy to say that we not only discovered a really fun new place to visit, but we made a new friend! We plan to meet again when David and his partner visit Seattle this summer. Can not recommend this stay and experience more highly.

What an amazing stay! David is such a lovely and gracious host and is super passionate about sharing his local knowledge and experiences around Torquay. In fact he is like a host and tour guide all wrapped up into one and is more than happy to take you around to the local spots and join you for a meal/drink. The Loft is immaculate and such a hidden gem. It gives coastal chic beach house vibes perfect for the warmer months. David goes above and beyond to make it feel homely with little cute surprises awaiting when you check in. I cannot recommend it enough and I'll certainly be coming back time and time again when I travel to the Surf Coast. And not only do you come away feeling more relaxed, you also make a new friend.

It was all these little touches and attention to detail that made my recent stay as welcoming and enjoyable an expirence as my first stay. I can't recommend staying at David's loft highly enough, and I will definitely be back for a third stay in the near future.

The loft is clean, comfortable, and well-located for the beach. The weather wasn't fantastic during my stay, and the host David was extremely helpful with recommendations for places to eat and other things to do. Can also recommend the About Time Bathhouse. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

And to make my stay even more enjoyable, David being the friendly and generous host that he is, even provided drinks including a bottle of wine, snacks including chips and chocolates, coffee pods and milk for me to enjoy during my stay. It was all the thoughtful touches that made my stay a welcoming and enjoyable experience. I can't recommend staying at David's loft highly enough, and I can't wait to make a return visit.

Had a lovely stay and the loft is as advertised. I got up nice and early to watch the sunrise at Whites Beach, with a coffee from Ocean Grind. Then an early swim at Cozy Corner, then a great breakfast overlooking the ocean at Doc Hughes. The weather was perfect and spent the day at the nearby clothing optional Point Impossible Beach. David was a perfect host and I will return.
