Welcome to our apartment inside the historic MacRobertson's chocolate factory, the name that gave the world the most iconic Australian chocolates like Old Gold, Cherry Ripe and Freddo Frog! This iconic chocolate empire situated at the north end of Smith Street (voted coolest street globally by TIMEOUT 2021), which is now the heart of the gay district, with several gay pubs, venues and saunas within easy walking distance. The CBD is just a 20 minute walk across the hip Fitzroy district, great access to trams just a minute away. Also away from the main street, nice and quiet.
Located on the first floor, our unique apartment is converted from the two story factory warehouse, featuring original brickwork, double sided fire place, large open plan living area and a balcony with BBQ.
The entire mezzanine is yours, your bedroom comes with a double bed, private toilet and a 360 view of the whole apartment. NOTE: the mezzanine sleeping area is open plan over the downstairs common shared living spaces so not completely private.
Well equipped kitchen, dining, balcony and shower are shared spaces.
We have two friendly cats.
Long term street parking available, with our visitor parking permit.
