Historic Chocolate factory apartment in Melbourne's best Gaybourhood

A pleasant stay. Friendly hosts. Location was perfect.

As luck would have it, Z.&B.'s place is a stone's throw away from where we needed to be in Melbourne (a family wedding)! The location is also very accessible via Melbourne's wonderful tram system. Z.&B. are friendly and respectful, and well-organized to host guests. We especially appreciated the cool ambience and easy vibe true to their "clothing-optional" advertising, because the sleeping space and the shower facility are on separate levels of the premise. (I just loathe having to cover up walking to and from the shower in other airbnbs.) Guests do have the use of their own toilet (a "half-bath" in N. American lingo). Their two cats are lovely and no bother at all.

My partner and I stayed with Peng and Bruce during our short visit in Melbourne. They have an amazing home, full of interesting trinkets and rustic decor. We would have loved to have gotten to know the hosts a bit more but our schedules didn't quite align. All in all, it was a unique experience to stay in such a beautiful apartment. P.S their cats Zoro and Kiki are very cute.

Great stay with Peng and Bruce. Place is exactly as described, stunning loft style apartment in a great location. Hosts were friendly, approachable and all round sound guys. Would happily stay here again for longer when back in town 😎

Very pretty apartment, nice couple with good recommedations of what to do and see in Melbourne. Extremely helpful was the parking pass they loaned me as I had rented a car to drive around Australia. Finding a spot in their cute neighborhood was not a problem.

I had a wonderful stay at Bruce's/Peng's very well appointed apartment in the heart of Fitzroy. It's in the heart of gayborhoud and surrounded by quirky little cafes, independently owned shops within walking distance. It's a tram ride away from the CBD. The added bonus is the two lovely and friendly cats Zorro and Kiki. Bruce wasn't around during my visit but Peng was around and armed with recommendations-what to do, eat/where to go/shop.

Location: Fantastic spot in a cool neighbourhood. Accommodation: As described - perhaps pictures and descriptions don't really do it justice! Comfortable bed with good quality linen. Exclusive use wc upstairs and shared bathroom downstairs was fine for me! Hosts: Zhipeng and Bruce were lovely. Good communication, easy to talk to. The two cats were almost invisible. All created a very calm, relaxed time away.

Zhipeng and Bruce's home is stunning — full of personality and set right in the heart of Fitzroy. It's the perfect spot to experience Melbourne's culture, surrounded by great restaurants, cocktail bars, and boutiques. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.
