Come stay in the queer heart of Melbourne, in a beautiful and comfortable sunlit bedroom with private balcony, that easily converts into a workspace. Doorstep conveniences include two supermarkets, a direct tram to Southern Cross station, some of Melbourne's best-loved gay venues and plenty of nearby parks, all a stone's throw from the city centre.
I love having guests and meeting new people, and am very happy to open my doors to travellers who want to experience the best that LGBTQI+ Melbourne has to offer.
As a host I offer fresh, home-baked sourdough for breakfast which you can enjoy on your own balcony. For later in the day, there are bottomless gin and tonics from my extensive gin collection 😊🍸🥂
A note on parking: I have a spot in a car stacker for cars no taller than 170 cm. The building also has 4 guest spaces for cars of any size, but those are first-come, first-served and cannot be guaranteed. Otherwise the paid street parking is 2P Mon-Sat, 7am-6pm.
Protect your payments: never communicate outside of misterb&b (website or app) and never transfer money outside our secure system.

My time at Brent's was truly wonderful. The place was clean, comfy bed and the sourdough was absolutely mouth-watering. Plus, it's in a fantastic location, so you can easily browse around and discover the neighbourhood. Brent himself is a real gem; I had a great time chatting, knitting and playing the piano with him. 😊 Honestly, there's no better place to stay in Melbourne, especially since he offers such a great deal for budget travellers.
Brent is a great host! He puts you at ease and makes you feel welcome in his home. We could chat and laugh right away as if old friends. His home is in a cute neighborhood with easy access to everything I wanted to do. I had no trouble getting in and he was able to answer all my communications right away. I'd happily stay with him again
I had a great time at Brent's place, if you like classic music you can play Bach with him.
Brent is an excellent host, full of warmth, extremely talented and knowledgeable. Very welcoming and always keen to share information or life experiences. I enjoyed my stay having him played the piano to spend the day. The apartment is very close to the main street (Smith Street), all the gay bars and sauna are within short walking distance. Room is cozy with a nice balcony attached to it.
Brent was an excellent host! In addition to the tasty loaf of sourdough bread he baked before I arrived, he was also quite warm, generous, and friendly. The space was clean, comfortable, and 100% as described. The location was quite convenient to get to local gay establishments as well as the downtown area. He provided great tips for navigating the public transit. I have no complaints about Brent or the space. I would definitely stay here again!
Brent is super welcoming and very friendly. Very pleasant room (clear view) and comfortable bedding. There is everything you need on Smith Street and in the Fitzroy neighborhood to eat or shop. For walkers, Melbourne city center is less than 15 minutes' walk from the accommodation, preferably via Napier Street which is almost traffic-free.
Staying with Brent wasn't just a good experience, but is already a cherished memory. I felt very comfortable being myself, and very at home. The location is incredible, with public transport at your fingertips, nearby restaurants and culture, and even a bathhouse within walking distance. But for me, Brent himself is the five stars. A beautiful, bright and talented human. I will miss him.
I had a very nice time at Brent's place. He was very accommodating and hospitable, which made my trip to Melbourne even more enjoyable. The room itself was very lovely - comfortable, cosy and neat. I especially enjoyed the beautiful balcony, where I enjoyed my morning coffee while taking in the city skyline, Fitzroy neighbourhood and the fresh air. I wasn't quite able to work out how to use the tv in my room, but it was no trouble, as I was often out exploring or chatting with Brent when he was available. Brent also kindly made a wonderful sourdough bread, which I had each morning with butter and his exotic honey. I appreciated having access to his coffee and tea as well - they paired perfectly with his yummy bread. Thank you again, Brent, for such a nice time.
Brent was simply amazing. Such a welcoming host, very generous and accommodating. Location is hard to beat, with #86 tram around the corner on Smith St to get you around town, plus an abundance of dining/bar/coffee options within walking distance. Bed was super comfy firm mattress and quiet room with not much outside street noise. Great conversations with Brent, interests in classical music and life changes. Like a lot of previous guest's reviews, staying at his place is like visiting a great mate. I thoroughly recommend booking Brent's home and wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
Brent is an amazing host—super friendly and welcoming. His place is tidy, comfortable, and everything was perfect. Had a wonderful stay, 10/10!
