We had a really comfortable stay in Gildas's apartment. Rome was hot every day of the week we stayed but the air conditioning in the apartment kept us cool. It was great to wake up each morning and have breakfast on the lovely roof terrace. The location is excellent, very close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, in a lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants (trust Gildas's recommendations!) - but once you're inside the apartment it's very peaceful. Wonderful!
