"Such a wonderful place! LOTE4 was as described and even better! Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed including kitchenware for cooking (we didn't cook). They have a water purification system so there is no need for as many bottled waters. The pool and patio were fantastic and perfect for cooling off after a long day! The best feature for us was the location. Located in a safe quiet neighborhood walking distance to everything, 5th avenue shopping/dining, beaches, grocery stores, and right across the street is a lovely breakfast café – Choux Choux café. We ate there almost every morning. We loved it and will be back!"

"In one word: "FANTASTIC". We own a small gay guesthouse in Tampa and have been to many around the world. This little paradise in the center of everything one needs in Playa Del Carmen is as good as it gets. Such great attention to detail in how it was built, furnished, cleaned and well maintained. It is just the way the gay community should serviced but sadly is not always the case. Now for the best part of all: The hosts were so friendly, helpful, and we asked a lots questions and got so much help and guidance to make the most of our short 5 day visit it was as if our happiness was the only thing that mattered (as it should be). "I am a first time visitor to Zicatela and the location of the property is excellent in a quiet area but only a few minutes maybe 5 or so to the beach area and main streets. The room is simple yet functional, plenty of room for a solo traveler or couple. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful stay close to Punta Zicatela but not a resort style big hotel, this is a great option. Thank you to the host and owner!"
