Explore all that the Boston area has to offer from a quiet and convenient home base. I’m making my guest room available a few weekends a month to meet fellow gay travelers and help them experience the New England that I love, and maybe make some new friends in the process. My apartment is on the top floor of an apartment building with an elevator and laundry facilities on each floor. Great bars and restaurants line my street, and there is a Whole Foods supermarket just across the street, but it’s still a quiet residential area. Free convenient street parking is right outside. The room has a desk (standing and sitting), tv, queen-sized bed, large closet, and a locking door. There is a nice view of the Boston skyline from the bedroom window. The apartment itself is spacious and you are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, balcony and bathroom while you are here. I do have a cat, and she stays out of your room, but if you have allergies, reconsider staying here. Im available to welcome you to Somerville and answer any questions you have during your stay.

Cambridge/Somerville, also ******** young, smart, hip and diverse area filled with bars, restaurants, and shops that are very LGBTQ+ friendly. The area is student-heavy yet quiet and immensely walkable. There are five great coffee shops all within a five minutes walk. There is a Whole Foods and a Walgreens on the same street, a few blocks away. There are also about 8 different restaurants nearby that are all amazing and offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. A longer walk (20mins) gets you to Harvard, Porter, Central, Union, and Davis Squares, each with more places to explore. The Somerville Bike Path and the Charles River are each about a mile from the listing and are great for a run or a bike ride (Blue bikes available for rent on my street). A short uber or subway ride gets you to the gay venues and neighborhoods in Boston (downtown, dorchester). Depending on what interests you, I can help recommend great local spots.
