Welcome to Long Beach - a VERY gay-friendly city! We offer a stylishly remodeled, beautifully furnished 2 bedroom/1 bathroom upper apartment in a quiet complex in upscale and desirable Bixby Knolls. Just steps to the multi-million dollar estates in Los Cerritos/Virginia Country Club (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, American Pie movies filmed here to name a few). Completely remodeled in 2020 with an awesome kitchen, upgraded bathroom, refinished original hardwood floors, mini-split AC and heat unit, modern-style ceilings fans. Fully furnished in mid-century modern furniture with West Elm couch, 2 arm chairs and modern dining table with seating for 4. There is a 43-inch Smart HDTV with Fire TV so you can connect to your streaming TV subscriptions. The kitchen has new cabinets, white quartz counters, stainless appliances with gas range, dishwasher and fridge with ice. Kitchen is fully stocked with Keurig coffee maker with coffee/tea PODS, plates/bowls/cups/silverware, toaster, blender, etc. Both bedrooms have new queen pillow-top beds, dressers and nightstands. One bedroom has mid-century desk for a workspace. The remodeled bathroom has shower/tub combo and is stocked with towels, hair dryer, hand soap, travel size body gel and shampoo. We have plenty of extra linen and towels in the hall cabinet. There is an all-in-one washer/dryer in unit but the building has its own laundry room that shares with 3 other units that's completely free of charge. Just behind the building you'll find Trader Joes, Mod Pizza, Jersey Mike's Sandwiches, Crunch Fitness and 7-11. Also, you will find Starbucks, Yogurtland opposite each other as well as MANY other dining/food options including local restaurants - Knolls Restaurant, Mixx, Taboon Mediterranean, EJ's Pub to name a few. We are just minutes from Long Beach Airport and 20 minutes to LAX or Orange County Airports. Super central location to everything Southern California has to offer! The property is directly behind a shopping center with Trader Joe's, MOD Pizza, Jersey Mike's, Crunch Fitness and 7-11. There is also Starbucks nearby. On Atlantic Avenue, you can walk to Restaurants, Bars, Breweries and Shopping. There is also the famous SteelCraft with coffee, beer and food. We are straight shot down Atlantic to Downtown Long Beach. There are LGBTQ bars all over Long Beach - there are several within a 5-10 mins away and our famous Broadway Bars are about a 15-20 mins ride in Alamitos Beach. There is so much to nearby to do in and around Long Beach! Long Beach is a bike and pedestrian-friendly city. Check out Atlantic Ave as they have reduced the lanes down to one and have dedicated bike lanes as well. We, of course, have Uber and Lyft thats easily to grab as well as Long Beach Yellow Cab. PLUS, Long Beach has Bird and Lyft scooters on almost every corner! LAX, Long Beach and Orange County Airports are very close, as well as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and as well as the Aquarium of the Pacific in Downtown Long Beach. 20 minutes to Downtown Los Angeles and 30 minutes to West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Silverlake (depending on traffic).

There are stairs - This is an upper unit in 4 unit building with hardwood floors. Be considerate to neighbors below - remove shoes and walk lightly. This is a non-smoking, no pets building. All guests must sign and agree to the owner and city rules and regulations. Check out time is 11 am. If you go past this time, you will charged $150 penalty plus $50 per hour. Checking out after 11 am has a significant impact on the housekeeper's schedule and new guests checking in. Parties or loud noises will not be tolerated - and will result in immediate removal.
