Small Town Charm

David is absolutely one of the best hosts I've ever stayed with. Easygoing, open, and friendly. The place is quiet, immaculate, quiet and with a great view. I will always try to stay there when I am in Florida. A bedside clock was the only thing missing.

From the second I walked in, I knew this was going to be a standout stay. The place was immaculate — truly spotless, beautifully maintained, and comfortable in every corner. It struck that rare balance of being stylish and genuinely welcoming, not just somewhere to sleep, but a real home away from home where you can fully relax and be yourself. David was an absolutely wonderful host. Friendly, thoughtful, and very easy to communicate with, he made everything smooth and stress-free from start to finish. Beyond that, he’s genuinely interesting — we had great conversations that added a meaningful, human layer to the stay. There’s something especially nice about being hosted by someone who’s both professional and easy to connect with, creating a space that feels open, safe, and inclusive. The location itself is quietly charming, close to downtown Sanford with its restaurants, shops, and riverfront, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed — a great balance for unwinding or heading out. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a spotless, comfortable stay with a host who truly cares and brings a personal, welcoming touch. I’d happily stay here again.

I booked David's place at the last minute, but he was super responsive and accommodating. The location turned out to be perfect. The condo was immaculate with a nice lake view and had the most comfortable bed I slept in of the entire vacation. Despite my overall busy schedule, I enjoyed my conversations with David. Would definitely stay with him again.

Men, do yourself a favor and stay here next time you're in central Florida. The owner and the accommodations are first class and comfortable. David is an extraordinary host and the room is exactly as described. You will not regret it and there's nothing else you'll need while in this beautiful part of the state. David's condo is lovely; clean, spacious, creative and the lake view is stunning. 2 blocks from main street, it was convenient to not have to use my car, that he offered a shaded spot for. A soaker tub, eclectic art collection, easy going host, all I could have asked for was morning coffee. lol
