The apartment is located in the most gay-friendly district in Oslo, Grunerløkka. In this area there is a lot of young people living. Its a typical open-minded, artistic, hipster area.
Grünerløkka has many exciting bars and eateries. In the city center you'll find the gay bars and nightclubs Elsker, London, Caesar, The Agenda and SLM (fetish club).
If you like to dance, I recommend Blå or Ingensteds by Akerselva at Grünerløkka. Or Kulturhuset by Youngstorget. Around here, you'll also find many other bars and nightclubs. Me and my partner often attend raved and techno events.
