One of the highlights of the Paris gay pride event on June 28, 2015 is the Papa Party tea dance. It will take place at Le Yoyo, a space that's part of the Palais de Tokyo. For the occasion, the venue will open its doors from 6 pm. The party doesn't close until 2 a.m.
Join us from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. for a private open-bar cocktail party. During this part of the event, there will be a retrospective of the rights obtained and granted to homosexuals over the last few decades and throughout the world. This part will be animated and illustrated in an offbeat way on stages with performers, souvenir photos, and a video show. Gays have acquired 5 categories of rights, all of which will be discussed on stage: decriminalization, PMA & GPA, gays in the army, marriage and the civil pact.
After 8 p.m. and until closing time, i.e. 2 a.m., it's time for the party and the music. DJs for the evening include Teddy Clarks from Lyon, Suri from Spain and Marco Da Silva from Los Angeles. Gogos and professional dancers will also be on hand.
Tickets for this event are available at www.weezevent.com/papa-paris.
