Gonzalo's place is truly a zen retreat. I absolutely loved it! It's perfectly located just a few minutes walk from the beach and close to laundromats, shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, the metro, and all the other great things Copacabana has to offer. I felt completely safe both in the apartment and in the neighborhood. Gonzalo is a genuinely kind and soft-spoken host with a warm, welcoming vibe. He also showed me around a local gay bar and Pedra do Sal, which I really enjoyed :) Though he speaks excellent English, we had no trouble communicating in Portuguese. I'd recommend this spot to any friend looking to stay in Copa and would definitely return myself!
