Cosy Bedroom in Copacabana

The warmth and welcome that Édson provides is unmatched! He made my experience in Rio so wonderful and his place is comfortable, safe, and clean in every aspect! The proximity to the beach is very handy plus many cafés, stores and a metro stop all within a short walk. I can't wait to return to Rio one day knowing I have a new friend there now!

I had an incredible stay here. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the essentials I needed. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Felt safe, relaxed, and right at home.

Edson was incredibly supportive during my stay. The bedroom had everything I needed. I attended the carnival and only used the house for sleeping and showering. The only thing I would've liked to have was more towels. The location is 2 minutes walk to Copacabana Beach and 15 minutes walk to Ipanema.

Cozy and wonderful room in Copacabana Beach. Convenient and clean, the flat is two blocks away from the sea shore, so you can enjoy the beach when you want to. The hosts are welcoming people and fun to be with. They suggested activities and tours to do.

I stayed in a few areas in Rio during my 5 weeks to taste different aspects of the city. I am glad I chose Edson's home for my Copacabana stay. Edson is a very kind hearted host, communicative and helpful, the apartment is well decorated, clean and comfortable, the location is hard to beat, quiet for sleeping and just one street from the beach with stores, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, gyms literally on your doorstep. Host magnificent person, attentive and always willing to help. About the room magnificent location as it is a few steps from the beach and also from Rio Metro and a good number of shops and restaurants. 100% recommendable.

Edson made me feel at home, it's a very clean, very safe and beautiful apartment. He was always attentive to everything and made sure nothing was missing. I would definitely return or recommend it to my friends to rent. A hug Edson!

I had a great time at Edson's place. He is a very sweet man who gave me a sense of being at home. He likes to keep the place clean, but is also relaxed about it and didn't expect me to do the same in my room. On arrival he gave me the keys which gave me the feeling of freedom and trust. He is a good communicator and speaks English really well so if anything came up, you can discuss it easily. The appartment is two blocks from the beach and there are plenty nice restaurants and music venues around. Best location in Rio as far as I'm conderned. Thanks for the lovely, warm time, Edson!

When I started reading reviews online they seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Edson is the most thoughtful, gracious host! He provided me with all the information I needed and showed me around the city. We spent days wandering around the city, chilling by the beach and visiting some cool restaurants. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. Edson, not only let me use his kitchen, but also cooked for me breakfast and dinner and invited me to coffee and different snacks all day long. It seemed like I booked not only a bed in his apartment but the full package holiday. He considers guests as his friends and introduces them to his own friends as his foreign friends - visiting him. He even, once said, that once a new guest checks in, the guests’ safety lies under his responsibility. The bed was super comfortable, bathroom was excellent. He keeps the place clean all the time and provides all you need starting from towels to toiletries (although he is not obliged to do so). The location was incredible. And he is really happy to show his neighborhood to his “foreign” friends. I visited Rio during the carneval. The city was very crowded and the weather was extremely hot, but he was still willing to go out with me to hang out at the street festivals. He even helped me to choose the theme costumes. Edson is a great host. If you are willing to get a local insight on Rio de Janeiro I highly recommend to stay over at Edson’s place. It is truly a cultural experience!
