The Reveal

CozyInsta-WorthyRelaxing

Would you like to stay in a room in a picturesque house in the heart of the Valencian Region?

LA CRESTETA is located 5 km from the Turia River beach and 50 km from Valencia. You’ll love our 4,000 m2 retreat for its light and tranquility. The property features a private pool available from June through September, a recreational area, and solar power. It’s ideal for digital nomads, remote work, or couples and friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city... Here you’ll find stunning panoramic views, tranquility, relaxation, and the freedom to practice nudism... And most importantly of all: you can see the stars!

ROOM AND MEALS Inside the house, we have a room for 2 people (1 double bed) with a desk. Wi-Fi, the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room are shared. The stay includes a varied breakfast: herbal teas and coffee, yogurt, milk, plant-based milk alternatives, bread, fruit, cereal, jams, cold cuts and cheeses, and fresh, farm-fresh eggs... You can also have lunch and dinner at home for 15 euros per set meal: just let us know 2 hours in advance. We offer homemade and local set meals (appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee, a drink, and bread).

THE PROPERTY AND ITS INHABITANTS The property is nestled among orange groves on a hillside. There are no neighbors or buildings nearby, no noise... Just the tranquility and peace of nature, fresh air, birdsong, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Our property is eco-friendly, and we do everything we can to minimize our ecological footprint. That’s why we’re committed to using sustainable energy and optimizing our use of water and other resources. We live here: one person, six chickens, six cats, and two dogs. You won’t run into any other guests because we only have one room. Perhaps a friend of the host might be here.

SURROUNDINGS There are interesting spots nearby that are easy to reach: caves, ravines, a medieval dam, livestock pens, clay mines... The nearest villages are a 50-minute walk away, as is the beach along the Turia River. From the nearby mountain, you can see the sea and the city of Valencia in the distance.

ACTIVITIES Here are some of the activities you can do on the property or starting from the property: ● From the property, you can go on a “nudist night hike”—a truly unique and different experience in the moonlight. ● Hiking to any nearby spot along a circular route. ● We can teach you how to cook a traditional Valencian paella over a wood fire or other typical dishes. ● A library with over 1,000 books in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French so you can choose something to read during your downtime. ● A record collection featuring a variety of music styles and languages if you want to listen to tracks not available on streaming services. ● Game trunk: cards, Parcheesi, chess, checkers, puzzles, board games...

Hello, world! I'm a valencian guy living in the countryside and I would be happy to welcome people to show them my region, la Serrania del Túria, and its most beautiful and unknown corners. I work with books and spend many hours tidying the plot where the house is. I'm calm and I consider myself kind and attentive. I love gastronomy, culture, nature (hiking), journeys and travellers and all the chances to share these experiences. If everything can be done naked, it's even better. Although my english is pretty bad, my hearing is used to Romance languages, hehehe... I also understand a little of occitan and portuguese, and I can speak catalan, spanish, french and italian. But I speak the universal language of mime... ;-) Welcome to Valencian Country!

The accommodation is amazing! Every detail and every corner is super well taken care of. On top of that, the host has been super attentive at all times and has given us the freedom to eat and drink whatever we want and most importantly to be on our own and truly disconnect! We needed relaxation and we got it, and besides that we were left with the wonderful treatment from Josep! Highly recommended no matter what! Thank you so much!

I felt like I was in paradise and every day was a weekend. You disconnect so much that you don't know what day it is due to the level of relaxation and well-being. Josep's attention is impeccable and the exquisite food is Michelin star quality. I will definitely come back and plan to make your house my escape from the world and its chaos. ❤ And how can I not mention Taca and his tireless desire to play fetch and Tiki purring so you'll pet him. They and all the other kittens are adorable. Thank you Josep for these days, you're in my Top 10 ❤

Josep's house is a real paradise if you search for a place to unwind, yet easy to reach from Valencia. Josep has been incredibly kind and I enjoyed the meals and walks together. His animals are all very cute and friendly as well. Being without clothing all the time added to the relaxing experience. To me the stay felt like a mental reset and I'd love to come back any time!

It was a wonderful surprise. Josep was so kind and always made sure I had everything I needed. And what can I say about the place? It was fantastic—totally peaceful—and I fell in love with his whole family (the animals). I'll definitely be back, and I hope to see you again soon. I recommend it 100%.

Josep is a great host and his home is very peaceful and tranquil. He's doing so much work on the landscape that he's tandoori a welcoming space into a hidden paradise. You can only see one other home from his, and only from certain angles so the view is impeccable & privacy is superior. Good cooking is very tasty, so I recommend taking advantage of that as offered. I will definitely be back a soon as I am able. It is a great place to just allow yourself to relax unencumbered.

We spent a wonderful few days at Josep's house, surrounded by mountains and orange groves, crossed by dozens of small roads. In fact, they are practically always empty. We experienced moments of complete silence and stillness, which inspires peace and makes you feel like you are on another planet (only Spanish wine shows that you belong to Earth). Josep is a wonderful host and a very interesting person. What's more, he is a virtuoso in the kitchen, as well as an excellent and masterful driver, allowing us to enjoy the perfect expressways of Valencia, complete with an excellent music collection stored in the depths of his "mountain car". And yes, we would never have found and visited some fantastic places and towns in Valencia if Josep had not taken us there and revealed them to us, donating his time to us. Oh, and yes - his property has lovely pets, each with its own personality and, of course, a special name. One example: von der Leyen (that's a chicken). It was even kinda sad to say goodbye to the animals... We are very grateful for everything we experienced in your lovely home, Josep.

Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy tranquility. Josep is an incredibly hospitable and generous person who welcomes you into his home as a friend and shows you his land through interesting conversations. Definitely a perfect place to return to. Thank you for your hospitality Josep.

If you need to disconnect, this is your spot, your 'paradise'. Josep is a great host, kind, thoughtful and conversational. Everything was very easy with him. Ah! Don't forget to try his paella. And the dogs and cats are very affectionate but come prepared with energy to throw the ball several times a day. In summary, everything has been wonderful with hospitality, kindness and a haven of peace. I will definitely return.
