I’m Andre, the host of this listing. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to an Italian family and moved to the U.S. at a young age. I grew up in New York and spent most of my life in California before relocating to Rome in 2014 to embrace my Italian citizenship and deepen my connection to the language and culture. I now live in Trieste, a scenic and friendly city on the Adriatic coast. Hosting is something I truly enjoy, it’s always a pleasure to meet new people, share meals, play guitar, and have meaningful conversations over coffee. I love showing guests around and creating spaces that feel welcoming and personal.

Since I’m currently based in Italy, I’ve partnered with Manuel, my trusted co-host in Long Beach, to help ensure guests have a smooth and supported experience. Manuel is an immigrant from Mexico who has lived in Long Beach since 1999. He’s a seasoned hospitality professional and ******** Superhost with over nine years of experience managing inclusive, guest-centered spaces. He’s also a skilled communicator and known for crafting warm, clear, and professional responses that help guests feel informed and cared for.

Manuel is a laid-back, draftsman, art-loving construction worker and part-time driver who enjoys life with his loyal pit bull, reading, music, movies, and working out. He’s passionate about all forms of artistic expression and appreciates good company, especially when it involves a strong, foamy beer and great conversation. His easygoing nature, local knowledge, and attention to detail make him an invaluable part of this hosting team.
