Hummingbird Inn - The St. Michaels Room

The St. Michaels Room is located on the 2nd floor in the front of the house with windows overlooking the historic August St on the north side of the house. The pillow-top California king sized bed has an overstuffed down comforter and pillows is truly one of the most comfortable beds you'll ever sleep in.

The room has two stuffed rocking chairs if you want to sit and relax in your room with a good book or watch TV. In addition you have central air-conditioning/heating, a ceiling fan and a built in HEPA air filtration system.

The St Michaels Room has the largest bathroom in the inn and has the only bubble-jet clawfoot soaking tub on the property complete with mounted tea candle holders and scented bath salts, you can really have a special experience in this room! You also have a large separate "shower room" (big enough for 2!) with a high-pressure massaging rainfall shower head, a pedestal sink and a heated towel rack. We provide environmentally conscious bath products and a personal hair dryer for your use.

Guests are provided with a 3-course gourmet breakfast daily with your choice of entrée featuring selections such as Crème Brûlée French Toast, Bacon Wrapped Egg Soufflés or perhaps you want to try one of our international selections like a delicious flavorful Israeli Shakshuka!

Looking to just relax? There are plenty of options at Hummingbird Inn from the large guest parlor with a cozy fireplace, game selection and lending library to the peaceful tranquility of our private Victorian Garden. And for the ultimate relaxing experience, book a private massage session provided onsite!

And of course, no stay is complete without spending some time on our 1000 sq ft wrap around porch! Chances are you will usually find your host & Innkeeper here nightly and you’re welcome to join him for some “Porch Time”. Come and listen to some music, share a lite snack or chat over an enjoyable glass of wine or other enjoyable refreshment.
