Hummingbird Inn - The Oxford Room

The Oxford Room is located on the 2nd floor in the rear of the house with windows overlooking the historic August St on the north side of the house and windows to the east overlooking the backyard and Victorian Garden. This room has a sunken bedroom, uniquely angled ceiling and due to its location in the house it is ultra quiet and peaceful.

The room has a pillow-top king-sized bed with a down comforter and pillows. The room has central air-conditioning/heating, a ceiling fan and a built in HEPA air filtration system. There is also a small desk facing an antique leaded glass window overlooking the back yard of the Inn.

The Oxford Room has the only remaining 1920's tub/shower setup on the property along with a hand painted porcelain sink and a heated towel rack. We provide environmentally conscious bath products and a personal hair dryer for your use.

Guests are provided with an award winning 3-course gourmet breakfast daily with your choice of entrée featuring selections such as Crème Brulé French Toast, Bacon Wrapped Egg Soufflés or perhaps you want to try one of our international selections like a delicious flavorful Israeli Shakshuka!

There are plenty of options at Hummingbird Inn from the our private Guest Bar (The Charm Bar) with a cozy fireplace, a hand curated wine selection and full bar, to our 1000 sq ft wrap around Victorian Porch. Or perhaps you would enjoy the beautiful tranquility of our private Victorian Garden. For the ultimate in relaxation, ask about a private in-house massage session!
