I am originally German and have been living in the UK for over 26 years. I know London really well and am happy to provide information on sights and getting around during your stay. My house, located in a residential area, is about 15 minutes walk from East Croydon station, which gives easy access to most London airports, the Eurostar terminal and to central London.

Please give me at least one or two days notice.

Bernd sent me directions to his house which were very clear so his house was straightforward to find. There are plenty of transport connections from his house to central London etc. Bernd is an excellent host and his house and the bedroom and bathroom were fine, clean and comfortable. Bernd is a nice guy, very helpful and gave me lots of tips of places to visit which will also be useful for subsequent London trips. I enjoyed chatting with Bernd and would recommend him and his house.

Good communication with Bernd. He met me at the station and we had a nice meal in town. Good chat over a bottle of wine later. Nice clean room! Very kind to include breakfast. I would highly recommend to everyone. Bernd is very kind.

Bernd is a great person, charming, polite and I am grateful that he was so patient and kind to me. He was looking for me until he found me, because I was in another wrong place and he was even kind enough to go to the subway to find me. He showed me the places around, we shared a walk and the next morning, he prepared a perfect breakfast. I hope we can meet again and have a beer. Bernd's house is near the metro, a few minutes' walk away and in your area there are many things, like a bar, etc... The house is quiet and good. Bernd, too, helped me get around for my next trip. Thank you very much Bernd.

Bernd is a excellent host. His house and room was absolutely perfect. I really interesting man. We had a lot in common. We even went out for a beer together. The breakfast was a lovely surprise. Bernd is what mister bandb should be about. I could of stayed longer but I had to get a move on. Highly recommended and will use bernd accommodation again. Thank you.

Bernd is the kindest host you will ever meet: he is really nice, incredibly helpful, a cultured and easy to talk man who travelled a lot. His entire home is very tidy and absolutely clean, the pics are real, but the reality is even better. If you are travelling from and to Gatwick, the airport is very fast to reach. I'd like to thank Bernd again for the way he hosted and helped me through my travel. I definitely and strongly recommend him and his home!
