Wagner's apartment is in a great location for tourists. It is very close to Copacabana, close to a commercial district and has access to the metro. We felt safe during our stay in the neighborhood. The apartment was clean and well organized. Although Wagner does not speak English, he is an amazing host. He is responsive and very friendly. The room was overpriced considering we had to share the apartment with several other people and the room only had a sofa bed + mattress for three people. However, Wagner was very kind to invite us to the NYE réveillon dinner and treated us like family. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place since it was ideal to visit Rio de Janeiro and the stay was very enjoyable.
