Harp House

Duccio is hands down one of the best hosts - he kindly arranged for me to drop off my luggage early and was incredibly hospitable and helpful without being intrusive. The flat is a charming traditional Italian home situated a stone's throw from the Duomo and central sights. The room was large and despite its central location was quite quiet (if you need total silence at night you are staying in the wrong city)

Another wonderful stay. Duccio was super nice and even aided me with the luggage.. The room is spacious and super clean. The bathroom has everything you need for a day of seeing Florence. The location is also great.

Duccio has a fantastic flat close to everything you need in Florence. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and well equipped. He is a fantastic and super hospitable host.

Duccio was very welcoming and despite my busy schedule meaning I did not see much of him, he was always available if I had any questions. He was always available with ideas or suggestions of places to go or things to do. The location of the apartment is great. You can easily walk to anywhere in the historic city, or you have excellent access to buses. The room is very comfortable, welcoming, clean and relaxing. As the guest you also have your own bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazingly nice apartment near enough to the hub of it all. Duccio was out of the city but had the next door business lady have the keys for me there to pick up. THis cozy place is on the 2nd floor. Big window in the bedroom looking out to the street. Was in walking distance to the Duomo and lots of great restaurants and gelato ( my vice in Italy) , while you felt peaceful once in the room of the Harp House. My stay was very brief only 2 night till I had to fly out but this place is close to a bus route that will get you to the tram and thus the airport. My only downsides was I'm a bigger guy and the bathroom was kind of a tight squeeze for me, yet it was spotless and clean. I also did not get to meet Duccio in person but I definitely will be back someday . Will recommend. PS try to find Rooster Cafe : its a very small restaurant that does brunch very well but there is a wait as it seats about 14 people at a time in the whole place. Its about a 2 minute walk from the Harp House. AND Cantina Del Gelato is just a 5min walk to get to the street Borgo la Croce . Again Harp House was so close and still quiet.

Definitely recommend this place for people who plan to visit Florence. Walkable to everywhere and bus C2 stops nearby the corner from/to station. Room is cute, clean and big space with own bathroom. Decoration is artistic with unique painting and vintage furniture. Duccio is super friendly and nice person, barely set rules for guests. We barely met though cuz I went out early and back very late. But with the short talk I already feel he's like an old friend. I'll stay here next time for sure.
