Grand Private Room (w/ fridge), 1min from Copacabana Beach

Initial communication was poor—had to message via ******** to get responses on the app. Check-in with on-site gentleman was smooth despite limited English. The room matched photos but was dated and not clean; bedding had stains. First floor unit above a very busy street, with poorly sealed windows—extremely noisy. With dirty linen and constant noise, I couldn't stay a second night and moved elsewhere

The location is excellent just a block from the beach and in a very safe area. The hosts are helpful and willing to guide you with what they can. The bathroom is not private, and if you want to store your luggage, they only allow it until 3pm. The locks are too old and complicated to open or close. The elevator is small and slow. It's better to take the stairs. There are insufficient outlets and lighting, though the air conditioning, fan, and refrigerator are in good condition.
