PRIVATE BATHROOM. Strategic location. Italian queen-size bed (width120 cm / 47.24 inches). One bed can be added. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. It is bright, clean, very good for young people. It is not suitable for people who like to spend the day at home. Very close location to the center: Metro, Tram, Bus 200 m. We are very helpful and cooperative fridge available but NO COOKING. Breakfast is not there but it is there! The house is located al in a pedestrian island (no car area) very full of bars, bistros and restaurants and, in the evening it turns into a busy and seductive movida. Hello everybody, I am Andrea, I am 55 y.o, born and raised in Rome. I am a scriptwriter, stage and film director and a good photographer too. I know very well Rome, her history, prehistory, her Christian and Pre-Christian archaeological sites, museums and fine arts gallery and collections. I speak English, French and a little Spanish languages. I love to host. I find this funny and sometimes it helps me in my job and in my life.

Andrea provided such a warm welcome with a fresh caffè and very detailed recommendations (including a map) of places to visit and sent some great options of places to grab a bite! The room with its own bathroom offers privacy and coziness and was comfortable. Rome was experiencing a big heatwave when I was there, so the room a a bit warm but Andrea made sure there were fans available to help cope. I would definitely recommend staying here – the neighbourhood is charming and it's quite easy to travel to the main sites.

I loved it. These sweet, handsome guys are beautiful people. They give you lots of privacy and good advice. There were strikes and protests while I was there, and they sweetly checked on me. The neighborhood is hip, central and well-connected to transit. The room is basic (think staying with family), but you get your own bath and to feel a little hint of connection to the place (unlike some soulless hotel or ********). Just beware, you might develop a little crush on your hosts. They're dreamy.

Location, location, location. We absolutely loved the area--away from the tourists, and located on a short pedestrian street (no cars). We were close to a Metro station; taxi service wasn't a problem. The pedestrian street where the apartment is located had numerous restaurants for meals, a near-by pharmacy, very nice grocery store, and local fruit and vegetable vendors that set-up shop each morning. Andrea was very responsive and communicative during the reservation process and during our stay, providing helpful tips along the way. While the room itself would be considered "no frills, our overall experience with Andrea and Marco, the setting, and value for the price for us were A+. If we come to Rome in the future, we would definitely want to stay there again. Also, we enjoyed talking with Andrea and Marco about life in Italy. Separate note: Navigating Rome is fairly easy once you become familiar with the layout of the city and the Metro stops. Study the layout of the city before you go! The apartment is in the southeast corner of the metro map.

Andrea has been a great host. Making sure I would find his place and sending me details on how to get there. He provided me with tips and ideas on what to do in Rome. Very friendly and we had good conversations. The flat is very well located, with good transport to the city centre and if you like to walk like I do it is within reasonable distance. I would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Andrea and Marco are a kind and nice couple! They made me feel at home and helped me in many situations, I truly thank you for everything. Ideal for those looking for a room in Rome for a few days. Very close to metro line C and many interesting places for those who want to discover Roman nightlife. The bars in the area are always full and close late so you may hear noise but it's normal if you're prepared for this atmosphere, nothing exaggerated anyway. If you like talking about history and art, Andrea will be the right host for you! Only negative point: The toilet flush can cause problems, so be careful.

Andrea and Marco are exquisite people. It was my first time in Rome and they gave me lots of tips on how to get around the city and what to see, and also lots of culinary advice. Andrea is passionate about Rome and very cultured, hearing him tell me facts about Rome and cinema has always left me fascinated. The house is located in a young and dynamic area and is very well connected to the rest of the city by bus and metro. What can I say, thank you very much! I will for sure come back in the future :)

Andrea is very attentive and kind, yet always respectful, giving the guest his space and privacy. Due to the heat in summer, Andrea was very kind to offer double fans for me to get through the night. The location is very nice, many restaurants around, and the metro station is only 200 meters away. Overall I had a really nice stay at Andrea's. I'd definitely recommend to stay here.
