Serge is a delightful host with really clear and prompt communication. His apartment is lovely and as described. Location is perfect, especially for easy access to Montmartre and Gard du Nord.

Great location for seeing all of Paris. The charming belle époque style apartment was exactly what we're looking for.

The apartment is very well situated, super clean, close to Gare du Nord transport hub (5 minutes walk), in a very quiet beautiful side street, with supermarket nearby. It is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and ancient and it's big! We did spend an exceptional time in Paris and Serge's apartment made a real plus. You just feel like a Parisian, but with that extra chic feeling! We stayed 1 week and could have stayed more. Merci Serge, et à bientôt!

I would totally stay here again. Serge made check-in super easy. I just texted him from the Metro as I was arriving from CDG. The apartment is spacious and incredibly clean. Although there is no dryer, there is a washing machine and a huge rack to hang your clothes to dry. Also, there's an iron and ironing board. The kitchen has everything you might need. The location cannot be beat. You are between 2 Metro stations and a short walk to the Gare du Nord. There are grocery stores and good bakeries within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. And of course, Rue des Martyrs is about 10 minutes away. Thanks Serge for your hospitality

Serge's apartment is fantastic. It is in a great location close to Gara du Nord to catch the subway. If you like walk, like we do it's close enough to get to the sites of Paris on foot. The neighborhood is full of nice restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Serge was a great host and gave us good tips on places to shop during our visit. We look forward to returning to Paris as there is still much more to see and do!

This is an ideal apartment for a true Paris experience, nestled at the heart of the 9th, just a 10 minute safe walk from the Gare de Nord (and the train to CDG or the Eurostar). It is a beautifully decorated classic Paris flat with a very well equipped and modern kitchen. Note that there is not a lift so you'll need to be comfortable with a couple flight of stairs as is usual in flats like this. There are many grocery shops, both regular and natural, nearby and the fine food shops of the rue des Martyrs is a few short blocks away. Cafes and restaurants of every kind from classic French to Indonesian street food are everywhere. Well situated, the flat is nevertheless on a quiet street, one block in length. Serge, the genial host, was kind enough to meet me at the flat even though my flight arrived after 10 pm. He gave me a tour of the flat and tips about the neighbourhood and the 9th. The location of the flat is a short walk to Montmartre and the Opera Garnier and the Department Stores. The main museums and the Marais are about a 20 minute walk to the south through some of the best streets of central Paris. However, the best recommendation for this flat may be to stay in a lovely district where the cafes and restos are full of local people and the chance to feel like you are really living in Paris.

We were greeted by Serge when we arrived and he graciously showed us around his home. It made such a difference to be there as it felt like home each evening as we come home from seeing the sights. His home was clean and spacious and even had a dishwasher and clothes washer and the best iron we have ever used. It's the little things that make the difference. Thank you Surge

The apartment was everything we expected. Situated on a quite street and just a two minute walk to the metro. Spacious and well kept we felt perfectly at home. Near a grocery store some really good restaurants and a small park at the end of the block.

Words cannot describe fully how happy we are with our experience. Firstly, the apartment was immaculate and well-stocked. As this was our first trip to Paris, we really appreciated how conveniently it was located to the Metro, but also how it was tucked away and allowed us to feel like we were really living in Paris. Serge was more than accommodating with our travel schedule and was there to greet us when we arrived, showing us around his beautiful apartment and answering any questions we had. There are so many great shops and restaurants walking distance from the apartment and we look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Paris!
